That’s not a great comparison of invasions. Russia has far greater access to Ukraine. With Belarus, they were right on the doorstep of Kyiv. In Iraq 2003, you’re going in through Kuwait and the Persian Gulf and working your way north. Much less ground to work with to prepare and start an invasion and much more ground to cover to get to the capital.
