Your boxing friends should force you into a 72 hour psychological evaluation. I'd pay to see those results...

This thread devolving into Trump or Biden blaming is dumb.

Both (and every President since the late 90's) have had a hand in what's happening right now. I don't really blame anyone but Putin, and so should none of you. Mistakes were made by all of them but lets get united behind the guy in charge right now. I SUPPORT PRESIDENT BIDEN and pray he finds the wisdom to make the right choices in the days ahead. That's it.

I'm sure that the Ukranian people who may die or lose their children in the coming days and weeks are sorry to hear about your inconvenience and poor attention span.

I doubt it. Like all folks they tend to rally around the flag and fall for propaganda. The close historical connection of the Russians and the Ukrainians will probably lead to relatively lack of blood shed and things may still very well return to the status quo before 2014 and the anti-Russian coup that was midwifed by the US.

A non NATO Ukraine or a neutral Ukraine like Finland, Sweden etc would be the best outcome. What Putin has done is clearly wrong, but by making NATO non-negotiable we f'ed up -- at least if one is not a fan of the Military Industrial Complex.

I'm not Trump blaming to be very clear. I said this was an inevitable outcome when Ukraine tried to turn to Western democracy. It didn't matter who was president. The rhetoric would change, Trump clearly wouldn't out attacking Putin and stuff, but materially it woudn't change what's happened.

Putin has been putting the pieces in place for at least 10 years.

Completely agree, this isn't a partisan issue. Putin is an unpredictable dictator and we need to all be united to deal with the issue at hand. Generally these types of things have brought both parties closer together for the common good.

Not until there's a war usually. Republicans tried to oust FDR before WW2 by saying he was a warmonger that was going to send your children to die for European capitols that we couldn't even pronounce. The America First Movement was spawned then and featured many prominent individuals. The lead up to WW2 was an extremely partisan climate in the United States until Japan attacked Pearl Harbor. That is the singular event that made both sides "come together" such as they did.

OK, lets focus on renewable energies. Not sure the Keystone actually supplies us with much energy...

I'm pretty sure Russia has them...

And there is always evacuation. There are bunkers. The time certainly matters.

One of the only times I've ever agreed with you but I'm 100% here.

Anyone thinking this was avoidable is fooling themselves, just like @justtxyank said.

Ain't no American willing to die for Ukrainian sovereignty, especially with nukes on the table.

Yeah brah, my bad, I did not mean to come off like that. Nobody has more love for the Ukrainian people, as I have travelled there multiple times, and been following the Klitschko brothers, especially Wladimir since the 96 Atlanta Olympics.

And he keeps on lying. He has always been a liar, this is not surprising.
