I don't think Putin NEEDS to tell Trump anything. Like you said, Trump admires Putin. Putin doesn't need to give him marching orders on what to say because Trump is a true believer in Putin. Trump's biggest vulnerability is flattery. It's really quite remarkable that we elected someone who is the poster child for a mark. What does Trump value most in the world? Himself His Money Beautiful women who will get down and dirty with him and pretend to like it If someone had written a spy novel with a character so easily manipulated as Trump we'd say it was too on the nose.
You might want to research who actually has missile defense systems and what missiles can actually be defensed because all missiles are not the same. And we are talking about minutes not hours, so sometimes more time does not matter at all. There is no defense for a ballistic missile, there is no defense for most modern missiles.
Trader Jorge is a character on here - he's as sincere as Triumph the Insult Comic Dog, only less funny and less fact-based.
Trader Jorge and his twin brother are narrow minded people who have led a sheltered white privilidged life. They are unable to think for themselves, or beyond what they perceive is good for their own selfish desires....they are the epitome of ME FIRST people. DD
Glad to see people brave enough to this, but that's not a huge enough crowd to really make an impact.
I appreciate the hug, but if you don’t think the Dems are not responsible for this when they took office then maybe you’re the one in need of the 21 day detoxing program.
That is ONE crowd and it is growing, once others see them it should continue to grow....especially if there is no crackdown .........St. Petersburg is protesting too DD
Do I think that Democrats are responsible for Putin having a master plan to conquer the world? That should seem crazy even to you, my friend. Offer of hug still stands. Bring it in.
When Trump was President, the Congress approved security funds for Ukraine. Trump delayed paying the funds. He was reaching the end of the fiscal year where the money would have been returned to Congress. Republicans like John Thune and Lindsey Graham said they were going to start an investigation to find out what was going on because there was a legal requirement to notify Congress about delays that was fast approaching. Trump said it was because they were investigating corruption. The Pentagon had already certified the benchmarks required. Trump still wouldn't release the aid to Ukraine. Then Vindman filed a whistleblower complaint and the administration released the money as soon as it became public. The idea that Trump was an ally to the Ukraine is absolutely preposterous. Lindsey Graham's defense of Trump in his impeachment was that his Ukraine policy was so incoherent and incompetent that there's no way he actually tried to organize a quid pro quo. Lindsey Graham is the one who said in 2017 that Ukraine should be a member of NATO in the coming years. Trumpsters pinning all of this crap on Biden is amazing,
Putin was able to do what he does because we have a dipshiet in charge with the battery capacity at 5%. Hug confirmed.
Sadly much of the Dem base, " the corporate Dems" but at least the Dems are better on climate, inequality, healthcare etc.
I'll repeat: Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania are closer than any major city in Ukraine by a few hundred km. If we needed to hit Russia with short range missiles we wouldn't need to use Ukraine to do it if the extra minute or two were important enough to use somewhere other than the existing weapons in Poland. But truthfully, the extra minute or two ISN'T important. If we wanted to hit Russia with missiles there's nothing they could do to stop it. We could bring hell down on them from Poland without the use of nukes and they couldn't defend against all of the missiles. Regardless, these types of missiles don't win wars any way and Putin isn't scared that NATO is going to launch missiles preemptively against him. That's BS.
Damn, I’m trying my best to move but it looks like this war is distracting me from packing up my stuff.
When Estonia joined NATO, a country on the border with Russia but one that isn't as valuable as Ukraine and doesn't hold the political symbolism to KGB types like Putin, this is what was said by Estonian defense minister Liuk: “I believe Ukraine will be in NATO, Luik said. “I cannot predict the time, but I’ve always said to my Ukrainian and Georgian colleagues, be patient, work for it, be ready. When we joined, President Putin said only one thing: ‘Well we don’t like it but we certainly won’t start a war [over] it.’ It was a windmill.” The difference between Estonia and Ukraine is not that we can hit Russia with missiles faster, it's that Ukraine is VASTLY more important economically and symbolically.
