If y’all think the hate of Harden being fat was high on this board. Oh wow……….

Tate is a poor man’s Zion who actually plays games lol

You know what. I actually would. Embiid had bad injury history early in his career too. Not saying Zion will be the same. I think it's worth the risk. Yes Sengun and Tate are great but they aren't franchise player. And there is no LeBron type hype player in 2023 draft class. Only if Zion new contract has bunches of condition like how many min/games played etc etc etc.

Scoot Henderson is one of the best prospects going into a draft in the last few years

Tate, 2023 Nets Pick, 2026 or 27 first for Zion. All day. Take a chance. Bench would still look solid.

    PG - Find a star
    JC
    Jalen Green
    Zion
    Sengen

Pels never take this deal though.

You mean the hope of picking in the top 2 and that Scoot is as good as Zion has already proven to be when healthy?

What are the chances of that you think?

Zion will never be a full time elite player. The bar is low for me with Zion.

I’d trade Tate Wood and the 2023 unprotected for Zion.

zion is already a lottery pick. Tate is a super role player and Wood has no future with us.

Depending on who we draft with the our 2022 pick, I’d consider the initial trade of sengun . I’m starting to have doubts that we will ever maximize sengun potential becaue the things he’s like to do we don’t want our bigs doing. He’s not a perimeter big or a face up big like
    The rockets covet

This staff shouldn’t be around long enough for that to be the case.
    Sengun is a foundational piece

I would make the trade for Zion in a heartbeat. Is there risk? Sure. But the upside is a top 5 player in the league -- and that's what you need to win championships. Classic buy low opportunity that could pay off HUGE. The downside is you lose Tate/Sengun... two good players, but objectively they are league average players. Even if the downside probability is 65-70%, you have to pull the trigger on this deal.
