Russia needs this to go as smoothly as possible because they are spread very thin right now -- just the cost of scraping the country for military equipment and moving it to the border is a major burden. Curious that Putin is taking such a huge risk when the likely outcome is a quagmire that will take years to resolve with no real victory other than destabilizing the region. Any major failure will be a huge embarrassment for Putin who seems desperate to demonstrate that Russia is still a major world power.
It's a very plausible take given the history of this country. Why hasn't the US just called him a terrorist, sent a drone attack, and call it a day?
Russia doesn't want to occupy a hostile Ukraine, it just wants to destroy the pro-western gov't and turn it into a failed state
not close the keystone pipeline and make us energy dependent on other countries. which led to all oof this we were energy dependent under "orange man bad"
Don’t you miss the days when the little black girl was walking to the store asking for a loaf of bread a gallon of milk and a stick of butter now it’s like I need a full tank of gas cash money and canned goods
I wish you weren't so dense. You do realize that a Russian invasion doesn't equate to Russian occupation?
I'm pretty sure that in addition to sanctions this would get Russia to back off. Imagine if Apple is ordered to lock down every Iphone in Russia. Pretty sure Putin would be dragged through the streets if that happens. https://appleinsider.com/articles/2...xport-rule-that-killed-huawei-banning-us-tech
I'm not saying there's a correlation, but I have a hunch that Ukrainian women are willing to marry American men to GTFO right now. I've had several Ukrainian ladies looking at my Linkedin profile over the past few weeks. Here's one. Drop her a line if you're feeling like settling down: https://www.linkedin.com/in/anna-klymenko-940aba183/
You do know the Keystone pipeline was to pump oil out of Canada, right? Do you think Canada is a part of the U.S.?
There’s no way this guy is really confusing the Keystone Pipeline in Canada with the Nord Stream pipeline in Germany is he?? If he’s trying to make a bigger case about oil and our future reliance on Arctic oil that’s just making a case for a major investment in domestic renewable energy. Does he support Build Back Better than since that bill was designed to do just that and remove our reliance on fossil fuels from the Middle East and the Arctic?? Either he’s making a case for Build Back Better or he is ignorant enough to not know the difference between Germany and Canada. Which one is it @HardenVolumeOne ??
