    Stanley Kubrick vs. Steven Spielberg
    Kubrick is the best there is, and as great a director Spielberg is, he doesn't compare to Kubrick.
    Alfred Hitchcock vs. Martin Scorsese
    Tougher one here. Both are amazing directors, and obviously Scorsese has the advantage of being more accessible to modern audiences, but I would go with Hitchcock by a hair.

    This is where all your teams are eliminated and you just have to watch without any real rooting interest. I'll refrain from any actual votes, but the real final is between Kubrick and Spielberg.
