    I disagree. It's LA after all, I rather keep Christian Wood than an unprotected pick in 2027. I wasn't that desperate to get rid of Wall either. He can just keep sitting this year. I hope Schroeder joins him as well at home.

    Rockets did reach out to offer Wall for Westbrook but wanted the Lakers to include a 1st round pick. Lakers declined and that was the end of that. — Chris Haynes

    Shams:

    Rockets initiated conversations with the Lakers, something around John Wall. A couple different scenarios came up. John Wall & Christian Wood for Russell Westbrook and a 1st round pick. John Wall for Russell Westbrook and maybe a draft swap or picks. When you look at it from the Lakers perspective, that deal doesn’t make much sense. Does that make you a better team right now? Maybe marginally? Giving up future picks to be marginally better isn’t a move that made sense and they didn’t give that scenario much thought. That was something the Rockets came with.

    Lakers have the most entitled fans in the league. They just won the chip 2 years ago and are already complaining about how the sky is falling.

    Meanwhile, most of their bandwagon fans jump ship between the Warriors and the Lakers, whichever team is better at the time.
