Just let him b green. Comparing him next to Kobe is just gonna irked antigreen/Mobley mob fans, then the btching would b too frequent
I really don't care man. Can't think about everyone who gets their feelings hurt, I call what I see. You can be yourself and similar to someone else. Green calls himself an MJ guy. Kobe idolized MJ. It doesn't get in the way, that's an old myth. Also, I mowed the lawn last week, all of the neurotic ones are on ignore so this thread is beautiful to me. There's another thread with good constructive criticism. It's nice.
It does not mean much trying to push your agenda through with a dead guy comparison. Somebody whose basketball career allegedly surpassed Hakeem Olajuwon's in the All Time rankings because of his demise according to whole lot of media. I said it again, the Rockets do not know what type of basketball they want to play other than running around like a headless chicken. Like Green's dunk attempts. He lost the contest because he was green behind his ears. The young NFT generation act like they know shet but they don't.
I want them to keep doing it though. 1. It makes it harder for them to pretend they were never saying that completely moronic BS the longer they keep saying it. 2. It's hilarious. If they were reasonable about their lord and savior Jalen Green, there would be fewer people to laugh at.
You are probably no serious about the last 24 games thing. But I've been thinking about the parallel of Green and Kobe. (For those who want to jump up and say: "Don't compare Green with the great Kobe, blah, blah, blah," I am NOT saying Green will turn out to be the second coming of Kobe.) They both turned pro at the age of 18. Kobe's second season is quite similar to Green's first season, although Kobe was more efficient. But Kobe played on a good team surrounded by very good veterans with a good system. Kobe's rookie season is comparable to Green's G-league stint, except that, again Kobe was with the big boys while Green played with G-leaguers.
That makes all the difference to me. Kobe lucked out to have played with O'Neill and the other veterans. I doubt Kobe had as many Only Fans as Green seems to have on this board. As a poster has documented, he was a loner when he donned that Afro. Kobe had to learn his craft from the bench and he was not gifted a starting spot, that taught him some.
Silas is gonna pity Green and let him shoot all the jumpers now. A positive out a failed Slam Dunk contest.
It is his thread, he gets tons of attention. No matter if Green pans out or not. He is an articulate writer so he is riding that hard. Does a Hakeem thread get this much attention?
I must be crazy. I really don't understand what you're surprised about. I'm a huge Jalen Green fan and one of the most optimistic about his future.
17 points on 12 .5 shots like he has in Feb would be exceptional for the rest of the year. I don't see where he'd get 16 shots from. Shot distribution is evenly divided between the 5 starters. If KPj could hit a free throw, he'd be averaging 17pts on 11 shots in Feb! I don't think peeps realize how difficult that is at such an early age when you're not a big 8 ft away from the basket. If no one is moved in the off season, where do Chet's fgas come from?
Good question. Probably Silas. Wood is good enough offensively that he shouldn't be limiting spacing or anything like that for Green. Green just stands on the wing. Pretty clear Silas is not drawing up schemes and whatnot for him.
