Keanu hands down, better Prime, far more longevity, still relevant decades later.

Gotta go with The Costner there.

Keanu and Kurt are in some great flicks but they are lousy actors. They can't sell it like Costner can.

"Keanu, Kurt...I've seen all your films. I tell you this straight from my heart. You're lousy actors. Let's do lunch!"

Nicholas Cage is numero uno...at churning out films. He made a film just while I was posting this. You ask him!

I would argue that he is great at that down to earth guy, that serious but quiet American masculinity exuding guy, but beyond that he does not have a great range. Sure, he is amazing at that and it got him academy awards, but he is limited. Keanu is also great at what he does, equally limited beyond it, and probably has less flops than Costner.

Kurt Russell has the whole Disney teen actor thing going for him.

He gets points for longevity. Also, Kevin Costner is a truly terrible actor. I'd actually say he's more wooden than Keanu. "No Way Out" was on cable like 3 or 4 times a day when i was in high school and I genuinely watched it about a thousand times as a study in wooden acting. IT. WAS. TERRIBLE. Like watching a car crash over and over. Keanu+Costner+Markey Mark are the holy trinity of bad acting in Hollywood.

Kurt Russell isnt exactly a master of acting range, but he does a big boisterous in-your-face bull-in-a-china-shop guy pretty well. Big Trouble In Little China is one of my favorite campy/silly action movies of all time.

My favorite of these three is Keanu. The Matrix and Point Break are two of my favorite films. Kurt also makes some extremely rewatchable movies. And Kevin's movies are just easy to sit down and get lost in; Revenge is my favorite of his.

Keanu shouldn't be in this conversation.

Kevin Costner is the Special K

I love Keanu as a person, but as an actor he is average to below average. Kevin Costner has some movies that I really like, but I feel he is a De Niero type who always plays himself. I think Kurt Russell has the most range out of the three.

I've always felt Costner is overrated. He has had some big hits but not the most dynamic actor.

    au contrare
his characters , all believable, have evolved from being a child actor, to Elvis, to that quiet working class character (boyfriend of Streep in Silkwood), a psychiarist in Vanilla sky, a fire fighter in BackDraft, a leader of men as Coach Herb Brooks of the 1980 US Olympic hockey coach, the farcical Captain Ron, a corrupt LAPD cop in Dark Blue, a bombastic used car salesman, a scientific researcher in "The Thing", Wyatt Earp, the aging Sergeant Dodd in "Soldier", a movie stunt man, and etc

my favorite has been his bad-assed Snake Plissken in "Escape From NY" [IMG]
