    Viet-Cajun cuisine happened all at the same time. It's a Gulf Coast thing. You want to claim it for Houston, go for it.

    Google "where did vietnamese crawfish originate" I did.

    Google "vietnamese crawfish louisiana" I also did that.

    Every page I found points to Houston. NYTimes, etc. Even the Louisiana articles.

    Why in the **** are y'all trying to dispute this? It should be a pride thing that it started here.

    Like I said, calm down, it's all ok. Viet-cajun was all around the Gulf Coast, because that's where they immigrated to...who cares where it "started"

    This reminds me of you trying to claim that grilled meat and vegetables in a tortilla was a Houston invention.
