    Damn what happened here with the Legacy News Media?

    Oh, it's about shows! You can't replace Max Kellerman with Tebow and Michael Irvin and get the same ratings, now your girl Rachel leaves, you lose your viewers.

    What’s a star talent worth to a cable news network? In the case of MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow, a hefty share of viewers.

    The network’s ratings with the all-important 25-54 age group have taken nearly a 30% hit since Maddow, the host of the network’s marquee 9 p.m. ET program, has gone on hiatus to work on a variety of projects, including a movie. Ali Velshi and Alex Wagner have filled in for Maddow, and MSNBC has plans for others to step into the critical spot.

    Apparently ALOT of people don't because they are tired of Legacy Cable News

    they rather listen to Local News or maybe

    a podcast

    if MSNBC were to hire Joe Rogan to replace Maddow, I bet their ratings would go up. just sayin'

    So now Maddow is not legacy news?

    It's like you are so dense you don't even know you are destroying the point you are trying to make.

    I found this interestesting tidbit.

    The Rachel Maddow Show” at 9pm closed out the year with 2.7M total viewers (vs. CNN’s 1.3M), more than doubling CNN’s total viewership. “Maddow” ranked #2 in the hour for the 12th straight year among total viewers and 4th straight year in A25-54. Compared to 2015, “Maddow” increased viewership by +209% total viewers – nearly 10x FOX News’ growth (+23%). In A25-54, “Maddow” increased viewership by +129% (vs. CNN’s +51% and FOX News’ +4%).

    It seems Fox has crested and MSNBC is still growing which seems crazy concidering a Democrat is in the WH and Trump just left.

    Makes me wonder where is she getting these viewers?

    I used to watch her most nights, but she has leaned into being a little too far left for my taste, but she does a great job at breaking down significant stories, so you can understand the implications.

    I do think she is very fair and gives you a complete picture, it's just some of the topics she dwells on don't carry a lot of weight IMO, and she likes to think the state of the Republic is always in danger.

    I still watch but not every night.
