You know, I think if Cleveland would have taken green and us Mobley, I don’t see Mobley having that success here because of the system and wood and kpj taking all the shots
U think we should draft a pg? or draft a defensive big man? Our team looks alright on D without Wood's effort. Rebounding effort is there also. Our offense looks like an entire beast with a real pg. Decisions decisions.
Still on Silas. He should have benched them if they weren't following instructions. However, Silas wasn't giving them these instructions.
Take the most selfish player off the court and the team plays more unselfishly. Plus having a real pg doesn’t hurt.
Is it a law NBA halftime shows must look like something from network tv right before it goes off the air at three am?
Reminds me of the year we traded for Rafer Alston. It was amazing having a PG who actually had real PG skills.
But shouldn’t he be able to demand that. It’s not like wood is some super star you have to cater to. If he doesn’t want to run the offense then he can take a seat.
If players aren’t pros and they aren’t ready to play, and aren’t contributing to the right culture, let’s just move on.
This Schroeder deal starting to look like the Olynyk trade. Another steady vet thrown in a trade that looks better running the offense than the regulars here in Houston. The vibes are similar. We were all irritated with the trade for Olynyk jsut like we were with this trade for Schroeder and then at the end of the season we were all trying to figure out how to keep Olynyk. Olynyk and Schroeder seem to under stand how to run the is makeshift offense Silas is throwing out there. Because they’re high iq crafty players.
