Why does it bother you? I am not qualified to answer the question because I don't have parent(s) that were born in a different country.

Also....does it stink that Kallie Humphries is competing as an American?

It bothers me because there's more than one American representing that Communist country. I'm sure their parents left there for a better life in America.

No, because she's a California resident married to an American.

Has nothing to do with being an NBA fan. It's about Americans choosing to represent a communist country in the Olympics.

You know it is possible that someone might want to represent China as their motherland and not the PRC as a political entity. Also sometimes those countries provided support for training in the case the US wasn't able to for one or more reasons.

So... is it because they are competing for a communist country or is it because they are competing for a country other than the USA?

I think they should represent the country they reside in, but I understand why they would represent a different country.

As long as they are following the established requirements, I don't care one way or the other.

Some want to return to their roots.
Some want to honor their parents.
Some are simply looking for a ticket to the Olympics.

There’s lots of Chinese people with immigrated legally to America

but you’re right , she grew up in California with and elite background and all the resources

So she can maximizes her talent and looks to make as much money as possible

Let’s be real here, is she was half Cuban and no way in hell she does it

the answer is she got like 30 million in endorsements

and like other rich people in that city like the warriors owners they don’t give a damn about the human rights of people that don’t affect her bottom line
