Nets offense looked fine and free flowing when the Big 3 was on the court…highest offensive rating of all time, including a complete ass whooping of the Bulls this year

they got a lot of assists as a team and everybody ate

too bad it only happened for 16 games

Nets released a whole 16 minute video praising Harden as a leader and teammate like 2 weeks ago

now that he’s out, it’s time for the hit pieces and slander

this is so transparent it’s almost too funny

He doesn't love basketball, that's for sure. I'm even questioning whether he likes it.

I bet he really thinks everything is going to be okey dokey now.

He will be under a microscope his entire career and the NY sports media can't wait to tear him a new one.

It was said that problems with Simmons and Joel were over who is Alpha on the team and they were jealous of each other's treatment by the management (perks and such). All of these problems can come back with Harden in due time. Prime Dwight or prime Chris Paul is Harden's best match in terms of co-stars. Old/current Chris Paul probably would be great if he chirped a little less and the GM/Coach held Harden more accountable than Morey&Crew. A game of what-ifs by now.

I am willing to bet It was Simmons who was jealous and Embid could not give a ****.

Embid does not seem the type to care who gets the most perks.

Don't see it being anywhere near the same problems.

Prime Dwight has no bearing on this he was way more immature than Embid and had half of the offensive skills.

Do I sound bitter? Probably… but if you’ve seen the list of derogatory names and racist things I’ve been called for calling out Harden’s BS you might understand or maybe not.

I honestly think he’ll be fine in BK…there’s far less pressure for him there than there was in Philly IMO…the NY media doesn’t care about the Nets that much…Knicks can be trash and get far more coverage in NY than the Nets who are trying to win a championship

Ben Simmons is in a good situation

Embiid was pretty measured with Simmons for a long time. Simmons and Harden are very different in that regard. If there are problems with Harden it will be that he wants to do too much, not that he doesn't do enough. I could see problems long term potentially but Embiid has shown a really thick skin so I don't think Harden complaining to him with both him.

I don't have an issue with how Harden handled being with Howard. Howard was a clown and could no longer play like he used to.

The issues with CP3 were on both of them. CP3 is known as a hard teammate to be around because he is very critical. The problem is that Harden is the same way. Even with all of that, Harden wanted to add Butler or Westbrook to CP3. It was only after Morey said that they couldn't have both that Harden said he preferred both. The CP3 duo is the one that should have kept together. I blame Harden partially for that one.

Plus he gets to chill with KD and Kyrie who are going to take care of him and won't throw him under the bus like Joel did.

I don't really care who wins or who's right or wrong in this very compelling saga with Simmons/Philly or Harden/Nets, I just care that both show up & play March 10 when these two teams play one another.

This game is going to be one of the most hyped and drama-filled regular season game since LeBron's return to Cleveland in 2011 and likely more compelling and entertaining.

Better yet, they can still meet in the playoffs! I'm here for Sixers (3) vs Nets (6) in the most anticipated first round matchup ever!

Maybe it's just me, but I think the beard should be trimmed down a bit. If nothing else it refreshed the look of Harden somewhat for what he would hope to be a new start. He should have also probably chosen a different number.

KD and Kyrie seem like the most chill superstars in the league, they will put absolutely ZERO pressure on Simmons.
