Picks don't matter, better player matters, tons of number 2 picks have bombed out of the league - you don't keep a guy because he is a higher pick you keep the better player.

Right now, Jalen has so many holes in his game, not a good shooter, not good off the ball, poor defender, doesn't create well for others - he is a scorer only and an inefficient one at that - sure he is 20 years old - so there is hope, but he is behind KPJ and it is not even close.

Yeah, it might be time to draft big guys even if allegedly the small guys are the proverbial "best player available" If nothing else how can we even develop the small guys or give them some time to show their value.

Not gonna happen - Until Stone corrects or gets fired for making such an egregious error. I don't like guys with that poor of judgement running my favorite team - it means they are idiots at judging high level potential.

Look at who we let go last year in the Oladipo trade too, we lost LaVert and Allen - both are better than anything we have on our roster.

Stone has found that he can find end of the bench and NBA roster players, but he has failed miserably on judging higher end talent.

Yeah, let's just trade or sign some free agents like Lebron, Jokic, Embied Morant etc.

I don't know. I see potential in Jalen. He's only 20 and has plenty of room to grow. Majority of the blame is on Silas for Jalen's path to success.

No, the majority of the blame is that Jalen got by on athleticism and didn't work on his fundamentals .......no excuses, he either improves or he doesn't it is on him.......

Handles, defense, movement off the ball, and a variety of changing speeds and direction moves......he has a long way to go.

Sadly, it just might all be due to Fertita not wanting to spend the money to extend Allen who had only one year left on his contract. Allen was even from Austin so I bet he would have preferred Houston to Cleveland. If we do not get one of the three big guys and they turn out, which is usually a bit of a crap shoot we are going to be into a long rebuild with an inability to attract the types of free agents everyone wants.

Let us hope that Green, Porter,, Josh and Sengun keep developing by leaps and bounds.

Kid is only 20 - he has plenty of time to develop and work on the fundamentals. This team is going nowhere right now, so I have no expectations of him to be at the Mobley/Barnes level, even if he was picked #2.

I can't declare him a bust yet. Eventually, I believe Rafa will bring in a better coach than Silas who can iron out those kinks that Jalen has so he can solidify the starting 2 position for the future.

I just don't like KPJ's game. It's very erratic and spotty. I don't see him as the starting PG for this team in the future.....he's more of a bench player that will help out the 2nd lineup rotation.

See below - kid's improvement is only pointing up from here on out -

I agree with you but can't help but to laugh at "he's only 20". next year, he'll only be 21

I completely disagree. Not only was KPJ Stone's first big acquisition (other than Dipo), they have utilized an incredible amount of resources developing him, including having Wall sit home making 40 mil +. They'll give KPJ every opportunity to succeed over anyone not named Green.

I have really liked the flashes from Nix when he’s been up with the big boys. I hope he starts getting some legitimate pt.

Like I said folks like shtting on green as their way to cope on our franchise not drafting Mobley.

Imagine deeming stone a failure at judging high level talent bc green isn't there yet.

It gets annoying especially when said poster preaches patience for a player that legit has an emotional outburst and left the team but proceeds to rag on a rookie for not looking ready. Fking have patience and follow your G@d d@m advice.

The best prospect in the G-league is named Scoot...Henderson. We're lying to ourselves if we say otherwise

Is this our new age center? Remember when Morey called Joey Dorsey the new age center?

I can't even get as excited about this as I want because as long as Silas is the coach, I know he'll never get any meaningful minutes as long as Eric Gordon and Dennis Schroder are on this team. Might as well send Josh Christopher back down to the G-League too.
