Mathloom and others attempt to draw attention to Green than diverting it. IMO it would actually be good to just lay low for a while if you are a Green fanboy. JG is not playing impactful basketball yet. All those highlights do nothing for me, it's a lost season.
It's that, snd after he looked like he was ready to break out, Josh Christopher has hit a slump - this occasionally happens to rookie players snd doesn't mean it's time to become a Thunder enthusiast
Definitely good advice; if you're a "Green Fanboy" - also known as a Rockets fan - you should stay out of the "Jalen Green Experience" thread pn the Houston Rockets Fan Forum because.... It's dominated by bunch of sad clowns that are emotionally invested in his failure and we can't have nice things.
16th pick that we traded 2 future 1st round picks to get and was proclaimed the steal of the draft, a top 5 player in this draft, the best player on the team, and the future of the franchise. Now it’s well he was only the 18th pick, what do you expect? Jalen Green’s highlight of his career will be what he did in the G-League is just more hyperbole and is just as ridiculous as proclaiming future all time great player status on Sengun when we were only a quarter into the season.
I am upset Sengun doesn’t play more and doesn’t get more quality opportunities so that I can see what he’s really made of. What also upsets me is when only fans of one player make excuses for said player when their guy isn’t playing well, but on the flip side take every opportunity to critique, criticize, and bash another.
NOOOOOOOOOO the other rookies on functioning well run teams are more efficient!!!!!! Green sucks!!!!!
He'll be 19 as long as he continues to perform poorly enough to need excuses to be made for him. Hopefully only 2 or 3 more years.
as a 20yr old green's averaging 15.5pts on 52% shooting, 50% from the arc started from the bottom now he way UP
He started most of the season and averaged almost 30 mpg his rookie year. There are plenty of other 19 year old guards with equal to worse rookie years who are today all-star level players like Lavine and Beal.
The thread is getting a little more crazy, but Green’s been playing better lately on offense on defense! If his entire season was like this it still maybe would have been a tad below expectations but I don’t think anyone would complain. Hope he can keep it up! I believe in the kid!
