I don’t get it either but I think Stone thinks Schroeder is going to be in such hot demand that teams will give him assets to sign and trade. I don’t buy that at all and think giving him PT is dumb. We are trying to lose games while allowing the young guys a chance to get as much experience as they can.

Because we blew the number 2 pick by not taking a versatile 7 footer in Mobley.....someone that can play on the perimeter and guard the paint.. DD
Mobley is having a good season, largely because Cleveland plays 2 bigs. They have multiple bigs so his role is easier.
The point is the better player was Mobley and he was at a position of need..... We are VERY short as a roster with only 3 bigs. DD
Why is anyone concerned about Schroder? He is gone at the end of the season. Nix is here for 4 years.
4 year contract basically means they view Nix as equivalent value to a late first round pick in the upcoming draft. Let him keep dominating the GLeague the rest of the year IMHO.
Possibly if he played that well the year before. So let's just be happy we have a guy for nothing when he could have atleast gone in the lottery.
He would have been a lottery pick if he played in the Gleague last year like he is playing this year. DD
