Abdelfattah might come cheaper than Silas, but Tilly will need to keep on paying Silas. Looks like we're stuck with him.
those 3 clippers games coming up are going to be huge. Has there ever been a time when a team plays one another 3 times in 4 games?
Magic and Pistons gonna be hard to out tank. I expect OKC to shut down SGA / Dort sometime soon as well.
Really that's the race - for 3rd. It sounds like Silas doesn't give a damn about what pick we get - and given that they are bringing in Schroeder to win some games, it looks bleak that we can maintain our position over OKC
OKC has the 21st hardest schedule the rest of the way. Houston has the 6th hardest. The Thunder also play a combined three games against Detroit and Orlando. I like Houston's chances to stay at No. 3.
Yeah, the Rockets are going to have to up their losing game these last 30 games. I'd say they need a minimum 25 l's to maintain a bottom 3 record.
Yep, I hope Stone is not serious about giving Schroeder serious burn or we will put the tank in serious trouble. We do have a brutal end of year schedule, though.
Or just promote Abdelfattah to Rockets as assistant and let him run offense with Lucas. Fire Hornacek, hire Brett Brown and let him run defense with Weaver. Staying status quo is beyond incompetent.
If the rockets pick Chet they will have the skinniest starting lineup of all time with Wood and Green
Wood and Jabari would be skinny duo too. But weight should not be the primary draft criteria, talent should. Otherwise what is your excuse for drafting Green, who was 170 lbs. And not just skinny but he was weak and avoids contact. Chet may be skinny AF but he does not avoid contact.
D-Rock and Nook would know more than me, but I think 4 deep in elite and about 12 deep in NBA rotation players.
NBA ready rotation players off the top of my head: Chet Jabari Paolo Ivey Griffin Sharpe Kessler Williams (Duke) Duren Jovic? Washington (Kentucky)
10 deep talent for all star potential, maybe only 8 deep, imo. But it is about 20 deep for NBA starter. Two picks in top 6 would be excellent. Mid rounder that i like a lot is 6'9 Oscar Tshiebwe. But there are some 2nd day picks or UDFA that I hope Stone takes a chance on. 6'11 Yannick Nzosa 6'6 David Roddy 7'1 Ibou Badji 6'10 Vrenz Bleijenbergh
By my calculations if the Rockets make up one game every game they could get to third seed and avoid the Suns in the first two rounds!! Right, @i3artow i3aller Go Rockets !!
https://ftw.usatoday.com/lists/nba-mock-draft-chet-holmgren-jaden-ivey-aj-griffin If Rockets miss out on top 3 pick, specifically Chet or Jabari, then all is not lost. Just draft 2 way stud AJ Griffin (6'6 225 with 7'0 wingspan and 50% 3P). Then with the Nets FRP take one of following 2 way 3-D players: 6'8 Tari Eason - best defensive player in draft 6'8 Keegan Murray - think Franz Wagner or Herb Jones https://heatcheckcbb.com/shaws-slee...rray-a-sure-bet-to-surge-up-nba-draft-boards/ 6'8 Jeremy Sochan - 2nd most efficient defender in draft
I don't plan on wood being on the roster if Chet or Jabari is drafted, you going to have to start Chet or Jabari at the 4 and AIperen at that 5, there is no way you have chet or jabari on the bench and you don't bench Alperen after pretty much rolling with him being our Center this year.
