He owns a restaurant here and I’m sure the ‘clubs’ near the galleria welcome him back

So you admit to hanging on to a grown man's nut sack? You didn't think that reply through, did you?

"Whatever I'm referring to" is every beat writer, tv clip, podcast, radio host, you name it. They all say the same thing about how he forced his way out. It's a league wide opinion. Not to mention the two most prominent players in the league clowning him on national TV.

This problem had an obvious soloution, trade Kyrie.

I'm sure his value is much greater on teams that can play him 78-80 games per year instead of 41.

lol. KD was uncomfortable as ever - in no position to clown anyone. And LeGM was smarting over a shitty season and a closing championship window with no options left except to do something like what Harden did. Ugly show of jealousy and hate out of Rich Paul's camp towards Morey's camp.

I'm not even Harden's fan, but this take is a hater's take on someone who's had a historic (even if controversial) career on our team.

NBA players move around the league and play GMs and the two "prominent" players you cite had started that trend in earnest. It's the current reality. Can you at least try to use some other "I'm too solid for this era" player to prove your point?

true, but KD would never allow such a thing, and whatever KD says goes down in BK

those guys on tv are bought off by klutch and China/Nike

notice the guys the league always mention are lebron, Giannis and kd

meanwhile embiid, and jokic are the best players in the league currently

Not trying to weasel out of anything. Yours and a few others' obsession with Harden on this board is borderline weird, and frankly has unhealthy vibes. But for me personally, it's fun to troll you and the other Harden groupies.
And FYI, I was here 16+ years before you, so don't question my Rockets fandom. I highly doubt you were even born when I started following the Rockets. Anyways, have a good night kiddo.

The minority of people on CF who extremely dislike Harden, have such a warped view on people who disagree with them. People that disagree with your POV are either making excuses for him or Harden "nuthuggers" or "dickriders" or whatever insulting term you try to associate with them.

You keep saying Harden could have done other things instead of forcing his way out. Okay. I'll bite. What could he have done differently? For home games, it's just him on a questionable hamstring, a streaky Mills and a trash roster. For away games, he has those things, but with Kyrie. No idea when KD will be back. No idea what the hell is going on with Harris' ankle. That's 2 of your primary offensive weapons gone, with no real timetable for either player.

I think it was either in this thread or in another thread, that I made the comparison of Harden/KD/Kyrie being important coworkers of a company. I'll make another analogy for Harden's time on the Rockets. Imagine being a worker for a company. Imagine you have a mentor (MDA) and your boss-adjacent (Morey), and all of you have been a trio for a while. Now, upper management suddenly changes. Your mentor and your boss-adjacent leave the company, so two unknowns fill their spots. Your pay is the same, but the overall atmosphere and culture changes, as it tends to do with higher-ups being replaced. Your company starts to go on a downturn, things start to look bleak, and you make the decision to quit. That was Harden.

For all the reports that you want to reference, I would be wary of what's actually truth. You had articles about how Harden wasn't happy because he had to carry. Then you also had articles from the same reporting sources about how Harden wasn't happy because the Nets didn't give him the freedom to carry. Literally opposing things. And you also had articles about how Harden didn't like NY's taxes, when PA's taxes are similar, in nature.

I'm not trying to change your mind about Harden because clearly, you don't have capacity to have an intelligent discourse. So believe what you want to believe.

People who like / respect a player who used to play for the Rockets (A) = no problem.
Person who goes out of their way to troll (A) = funny if it's a friend. Otherwise, it's pretty weird.
Person who goes out of their way to troll (A) on every single thread every time they make some comment about Harden = unhealthy vibes.

    That last example is you.

Lmao. You find it fun to troll while not watching the Rockets, I was right. Sad that you were a fan for so long only to actually be just a front runner. I was wasting my time here.

I have a friend who's well connected and was close with some of the guys Harden hung out with. He was telling me years ago (like 2016) that Harden would stay out drinking all night at strip clubs before the games, was playing hungover all the time. I understand where fans are coming from with not liking that and wanting more professionalism and dedication, me personally I never cared because Harden delivered and was a historically great player for us regardless of what he did off the court or how hung over he was when playing.

We would have won a chip, knocking of the GOAT team, if CP's hammy didn't tear.
