Forcing children to wear a mask is child abuse. The Left failed children.

We have our own Fauci, called Drosten. And they both had weird ties to the gain-of-function experiments in Wuhan.

I don't state the opposition in front of my children. We playfully try to get them to wear them. Not fun. Difficult with the 5 year old, impossible with the 2 year old.

We stayed at this hotel called Acqualina. They had a kids club.

Guess who didn't have to wear a mask at all? Us adults.

Guess who had to wear a mask all day, even outdoors? Our children.

    It's not right.

We also stayed at a hotel called The Breakers. Most people weren't wearing masks. But guess what they got rid of because of Covid...the kids club.

Very much first world problems on a grand scale of things. But it's obvious who doesn't have much of a lobby, the kids.

Maybe. Elementary here is 8:00 - 2:23. So that's six and one half hours with 30 minutes at lunch that's unmasked.

But definitely if students have bus rides and extra-curricular activities it could be 8 hours.

I am in Florida and can tell you nothing De Santis does is data driven unless its from a polling agency

Florida has been a shitshow of Covid and his decisions cost many lives as Florida has been behind the curve despite being a state that people spend more time outdoors.

It's all about timing. Masks did save lives before omicron became the dominant strain when used in the right situations. Obviously forcing two year olds on planes to wear masks was probably unnecessary, but at least understandable given the number of people dying from this disease. As for them being data driven, on only needs to know they tried to manipulate the data to see how untrue that is.

It should also be noted while DeSantis did not enforce mask mandates, local municipalities did. This was a big point of contention as businesses also had their own mandates which DeSantis fought. He fought to stop businesses from requiring customers wear masks.

If anything is undemocratic, it's that kind of policy.

It's the only way to eat.

You can disagree with unmasking students but I thought that was contrary to your position.

They do all eat outside as well.

Yes this idea that DeSantis was about freedom and letting people decide what is best is kind of contrary to them saying private business owners can’t do what they think is best.

My position is that masks for children are wrong. And since they get taken off several times a day, might as well leave them off all day.

    Also, go DeSantis!

I disagree with him on gun control, though.

I feel your pains completely brother. I have 2 teenage children and fortunately for me, I live in the free state of Florida thanked to DeSantis. I would move in your case( like you’re doing it now) if they force that face muzzle on my child. The sheep in here would never get it.

Hotel Breakers, is that the famous hotel in “ The Bourne Supremacy”?

I agree with you to a certain degree on masks for children. But the idea that being outdoors without them for 30 minutes while eating is the same as having them off indoors for hours at a time isn't a reasonable conclusion.

So even if you wish there was no mandate indoors either, it should be recognizable that outdoor eating for 30 minutes is a different situation than indoor closed spaces for hours at a time.

It's on the way for easing of restrictions in Los Angeles. Here they go by the numbers. Once it's under 2,500 per day for one straight week, the restrictions are eased.
