2 things can be true, and Jack Easterby is the biggest cancer to ever step foot in an organization.

At least Deshaun is good at his job on the field. He's also a piece of ****.

It pales in comparison to Jack Easterby. The most unqualified individual in his job in the entire NFL. Lied on his resume. Please don't make me go on. Just do your own research if you aren't convinced.

But where were these criticisms of Easterby before Watson started using him as the scapegoat? We now know that Watson was being dishonest about MANY things. Was he being dishonest about Easterby as well? Easterby, after all, was the character coach whose stated role was to keep players from going off and doing the types of things that Watson and Kenny Stills did... he would be a good candidate for them to smear in order to maintain their standing and advance their objectives...

If I recall correctly Seth Payne was the first radio guy pointing this out in early 2019. Not qualified for the job, job description that was vague, a clear power in the organization that was being skirted around publicly. There were literally SI articles before Deshaun jumped on board publicly. Deshaun sure as hell didn't write those.

JE is literally in charge of media relations. He's over nutrition, as Caserio has stated. If you can't see how that is a complete joke, that a guy that has no education or training in that area is "in charge of it", damn I don't know what to tell you. But I tell you what, can you tell me a single thing that we know JE is good at? Just one?

I've been on this train from the beginning homie.

Correct. Seth started calling him Rasputin before the 2019 even began.

Easterbunny wasn't something made up by Watson.

If u are a logical person, no fking way should a religious charlatan b at the position he is at with literally no experience/qualification.

Hell. He should have his ass fired regardless just for being associated with the decisions when BoB was in charge. But lo and behold he still here even playing a pivotal part in getting caserio hired.

Even when Watson is gone. The easterbunny needs to be fired. He can b a personal spiritual advisor to McCain for all I care but he shouldn't b anywhere near making any business decisions for the texans

    That's right!!!

Seth was so ****ing on point from the start man. I was right there with him jumping on board that train.

Another (unrelated) side note. As a Christian man, I find JE completely offensive, just like I find Joel Osteen offensive. Peddling Christ as a means to gain wealth and power. He is the antithesis of everything good about Christianity.

That being said, if he was qualified or good at his job I wouldn't be sitting here calling for his head. The reality is that he will neva, eva eva eva, eva eva eva, be fired. So we just have to hope he loses interest and leaves at some point. That's the only hope.

How long until he starts forcing the players to drink Kool aid laced with toxic positivity, or has that already started?

I don't really think his day to day interactions with players are all that toxic, although I definitely get the vibe that many players find it awkward and forced. If your boss comes up to you at work and says "can I pray with you?" I imagine that's an offer you pretty much need to take regardless of where you stand on religion.

Unfortunately, his cancer comes out way more in his influence on Cal McNair, Nick Caserio, and anyone else in that front office. We hear reports and leaks from those in the organization that his micromanaging and oversight completely gets in the way and makes everyone else's jobs more difficult. I fully believe that to be the case, bc if a moron with no education in nutrition, or media relations, or pick the topic, routinely interjects himself into those processes, the result suffers.

At the end of the day, he's in charge or CULTURE, and the Texans have repeatedly come under question in that regard. The idea that we won't take on certain players with negative backgrounds, etc, makes absolutely no sense. Isn't JE supposed to be there to help with players like that?? It's the entire reason the hired him in NE to help guys like Aaron Hernandez, Josh Gordon, etc. Now he's shunning those type of guys away. If JE is truly a follower of Christ, shouldn't he be looking in the mirror and asking himself WWJD? The answer sure as hell isn't "Jesus would turn his back on those guys." Nothing about JE makes sense.

    Easterby wanted McCown.....pushed HARD.
Caserio wanted Gannon...but the staff was the issue. Cal wanted to keep Lovie as DC.
Caserio wanted to pause after Gannon, but Cal made the decision to hire Lovie. As much as a moron Cal may be, there is no way he was going to hire McCown in this climate. They couldn't hire Flores because they didn't want they distraction after the lawsuit was filed.

Rivers McCown had something similar to this in his article today.
No f'ing shoe shine boy should have the power to almost get his boy the job.

Maybe an act from god that the 'climate' was what it was and they avoided the H.S coach. They also stayed clear from ghosts of Patriots past.
Time for Nick to nail the draft.

Where you reading this? Just curious.

If true, sounds like Cal and Easterby (partially) will get what they wanted. Surprise surprise.

Like it matters, if we truly cared about Andre Johnson's feeling, the Easterbunny would have been gone already.

But the religious charlatan is still here, trying to influence the front office into doing things

Watson's discordance with the organization and his personal misconduct are two separate issues so I imagine Andre doesn't lose any sleep over it.
