Armoni went ice cold. Sad to see him go but Mathews took that role and offers the occasional defense too. 3 point specialists don't shoot 30% from 3.
We were all rooting for Armoni but he just couldn't make shots in games. I hear he doesnt miss in practice but the bright lights arent for everyone. Or maybe the rockets need to invest in a better practice facility.
Brooks was slumping. I have no doubt he would have come out of it, but he definitely did not look right for a while now. I do hope they bring him back, but I don’t think that they will.
I'm disappointed about Brooks. I had high hope for him to be an integral part of the young core. Too bad he caught the Rynorona virus.

lol if only he were like rhyno rhyno shot 40% and 38% on 3s his 2 years in houston before getting traded that rhyno couldnt shoot anymore was just a narrative because he was 'overpaid' and had a few weeks shooting slump...so because people hated he was overpaid they went along with the narrative...
I was one of the few people who defended Anderson from the hatred simply because he was overpaid. But the fact that he lost his shot was not just a narrative. His shooting fell off a cliff after he came back from injury. He became unplayable in the playoffs that year. Then he lost all confidence and couldn't even hit 25% of his 3s after that.
Sadly undrafted players come and go and it is living life in the fast lane for them. I wished they didn't have to do a trade at all now.
Ryan Anderson was a career 40% 3pt shooter until he lost it. Yeah he used to be a great shooter. That's how he conned Morey to give him that 80M contract. Brooks is supposed to be a great shooter too. A 40% 3pt shooter in college. His teammates said that he was by far the best shooter on the team. He just couldn't hit shot this season for some reasons.
"Wait... what? The NBA 3 is a longer shot than the college 3?!" Seriously, though, Armoni was a pretty good three point shooter last year. He may have worked on his defense for this year and lost his jumpshot in the process. lol.
