he's going to ask him where he would like to go and in return we get a shitty deal. Stone does right by what the player wants.

I'm not so sure your as aware of Augustin's career role as you may think, DJ Augustin has always been a PG his entire career, including college.

When I say assist rate, it's minute adjusted, so it doesn't matter that DJ has averaged fewer minutes then Dennis (which is only a 3-minute difference to be exact).

I think KPJ having the option to play more off-ball is good for his development, I don't know if you know this but KPJ's isolation FG% is 26.8%, his spot up FG% is 57%

KPJ has really tightened up his passing lately, upping his assist and lowering his turnovers in a big way which is great to see, but that doesn't mean he wouldn't benefit from playing with another ball handler to find him offensively. He's been a VERY good spot-up shooter, like he leads the league is spot up shooting% amongst players with at least 1.5 possesions and over 10 games played, it actually feels criminal that he doesn't get WAY more spot up looks considering his production.

That being said, Schroder is likely his backup and will likely have many of his minutes staggered with KPJ.

I don't hate anyone, btw. I will sh*t on any and every Rocket who plays like crap. Sengun, JC, Green, Wood, I don't care. I love the Rockets, I love basketball, and I'll talk a lot of mess when guys are looking like Corey Brewer, but take notice, I give everybody love when they play well.

I was expecting a trade but I’m not mad at it we can still trade him in the off-season… maybe

Probably could have attached that pick to Wall, took Westbrook and got the 2027 first we wanted

If not, the pick certainly has trade value

    Our FO has no clue

I don’t know if this is a weak draft in the 25-30 range. I’m trusting our FO to an extent precisely because they’ve identified guys like Christopher.

Morey held out on trading Simmons until Harden became available. Stone waited until BKN upped their offer.

Stone tried to wait for the bids on Gordon to come up and they didn’t.

He could still be traded in the off-season or before the deadline next year. What you can get for someone is really dependent on what someone else is willing to pay and that can increase even if controlled years doesn’t. A player’s value doesn’t depreciate on a straight line.

If nothing else Gordon might have value as a matching salary.

If you think Stone should’ve taken a late first rather than gamble someone would bite and give a 2023 pick or wait and see if we can use Gordon in a better trade later that’s fine but this really isn’t that big of a deal.

Really dunno what all this speculation and accusations are about especially with no facts and no information. Who knows? Who cares? Have faith and trust what the team is planning. Was there this much vitriol and hatred with Morey in his first and second years as GM in 2007-2009? I wonder what we would find if we went back into the vault and looked at some of your comments.

Probably the only thing that makes sense at this point.

Wood came out and told Stone and Fertita he will stay and be a franchise player.

Gordon probably told them he doesnt wanna leave and wants to finish his tenure as a Rocket. I find it funny everyone keeps saying EG deserves better but where the hell are the reports EG wants to go to a better team? Gordon never struck me as a guy chasing rings in fsct he signed that 4 year deal as soon as he was available dude doesnt seem to want to leave.

Trading for Schroder tells me the Rox wanna take 1 last stab at being a decent team. Just doesnt make any sense for me though at this we point we could have had another frsnchise player to oair with Green and KPJ.

    Says who?

Our GM did a press conference, half of it about Schroder and his fit with the team.
