Have y’all been following AFRM? Leaked a portion of positive earnings by accident, pumps, deleted the tweet, a couple hours later released the real earnings early and called the earlier tweet human error, dumps. Whoops just an accident.
anyone else watch relations between markets/sectors? looks like gold/silver broke upward on market/crypto downtrend today. hasn't done that for awhile. more confident in my silver call i placed the other day
Bought a half position in NVDA @ 240. Will buy other half right before earnings on 2/16. Hopefully we get a nice pop.
RBLX, anyone? like all unprofitable/cash poor tech co, it has been taking a beating since mid-Dec. from a high of 141, it has fallen to the high 60s. yesterday, it missed its earnings expectation. this AM, it has gapped down to 55 the implied volatility for RBLX options is very expensive, 112%, ie traders are willing to pay 112% above the theoretical value of options decided to take a bite, bottom fishing, sold a bullish PUT spread, using 3-25-expiration. place an order to sell the 56/50 PUT spread, to collect a premium of $3.05 which defines my max risk to be $2.95 at expiration, should RBLX trade above 56. I get to keep all the premium that was collected in advance.
while almost every one is down today RBLX is up $1.8. exited the credit spread from yesterday; had to return $1.65 (from the $3.05 premium that was collected in advance) to exit. pocketed the net profit of $1.50
ISPO with the +350% move today. Patience paid off. Haven't seen a daily runner like this since KSCP or ISIG. I was wondering if we would ever see those big runners again...lol.
Yup...I will probably just hold and average down if it breaks 240. Huang is a great CEO and the company is still a beast. But I really regret not locking in some profits.
Same. I was up yestereday.....thought we would get a nice pop today. Should have known when it couldn't get over the 100 DMA.
