    During the presidency of Richard Nixon, there was a secret White House group---The White House Plumbers---led by G. Gordon Liddy
    established to investigate who was giving out classified information, such as the Pentagon Papers, to the news media.

    During the Trump presidency, the White House plumber played a different role.

    Trump Clogged White House Toilets With Printer Paper

    It’s probably a safe bet that the former president was indeed the perpetrator.
    WaPo reported over the weekend on Trump’s habit of tearing up documents despite the protestations of aides, throwing them everywhere from across the Oval Office desk to the floor of Air Force One. Sometimes he’d tear documents into pieces as small as confetti, the Post reported. “He didn’t want a record of anything,” a former senior Trump official told the outlet. “He never stopped ripping things up. Do you really think Trump is going to care about the Records Act? Come on.”

    Trump’s disrespect for the Presidential Records Act extends beyond tearing up said presidential records. The Post reported earlier this week that the National Archives had to retrieve boxes of White House documents Trump had improperly taken with him to Mar-a-Lago.The National Archives confirmed they had retrieved the material from the former president’s Palm Beach estate, noting that it had to recover “15 boxes that contained Presidential records.”

    the Archives found what it believed to be classified material among the documents the former president took from the White House. The discovery prompted the Archives to reach out to the Justice Department. WaPo reported on Wednesday that discussions between the Archives and the Justice Department “remained preliminary.”

    The 'but Hillary’s emails' crowd goes silent about Trump’s document destruction

    Remember when, in October 2016, House Republicans launched a series of hearings attacking the then-Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton over her emails?

    Ohio Rep. Jim Jordan, who now serves as the lead Republican on the House Judiciary Committee, fumed that “Hillary Clinton gets treated different than anybody else.” Another member of the panel stated, “This is the reason for this hearing – the sloppiness, the messiness, and the ability for a secretary of State to do something that shouldn’t have been done.” Another Republican weighed in, “I want to know about the destruction – the hammering of BlackBerrys.” The panel’s chairman at the time, Jason Chaffetz, who can now be seen espousing self-righteous nonsense of Fox News, attacked Clinton, “The secretary had a choice. She chose to not abide by the rules of the State Department.”

    Wrong question. The right one is: should the DOJ lock up the OP because he’s a Chinese spy?

    Chinese Firm Leading Trump's SPAC IPO Has Been Under SEC Investigation

    Arc Capital has been investigated for misrepresenting the expanse of the shell companies they represent.

    The Shanghai-based company has been under investigation for misrepresenting shell companies with no products and few employees as growth companies, the Washington Post reported Thursday.

    Arc Capital has repeatedly helped create or finance companies with little or no revenue or customers and listed office locations that are actually P.O. boxes,
    according to the Post's review of documents tied to the investigations.

    "There’s a shell company basically merging with another shell company, because, as far as we know, the Trump media company hasn’t yet been formed,” Robert B. Lamm,
    a lawyer who chairs the securities practice at Florida-based law firm Gunster, told the Post.

    In 2017, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission stopped three Arc-backed companies from publicly selling shares due to "material misstatements and omissions."

    fwiw,

    in mid 2018, saying that tariffs are easy, then-POTUS Trump initiated the trade war against China;
    retaliatory tactics/moves, to and fro, ensued.

    in late 2019, China granted copyrights to the Trump Co (including one for Trump escort services) and princess Ivanka. some time in early 2020,
    the trade war initiated by Orange hair ended.

    The real estate deal that turned Trump into a China basher until rein-in by China's President Xi;
    how Trump was schooled by 2 Chinese real estate moguls

    In 1994 Trump was on the verge of bankruptcy in the wake of the collapse of the US real estate market. A consortium of Hong Kong billionaires led by Henry Cheng and Vincent Lo came to his rescue.

    Cheng and Lo agreed to buy Trump's 77-acre property in New York City known as Riverside South, assume his debts and pay him 30 percent of the profits as well as fees for helping to manage the development of the site. To the extent that Trump had already spent huge $$$ developing the project which, at the time, was not yet profitable, the Chinese businessmen got in at a bargain basement price.

    The project turned out to be very lucrative. After several years of profitability, in 2005, the Hong Kong businessmen sold the development for US$ 1.76 billion, at the time, the largest residential real estate transaction in New York.

    However, Trump was furious, saying his partners did not consult him first before selling the project. He sued them and demanded US$1 billion in damages. Trump lost the case in a NYC court, and had to accept a 30% share in the profits from the project.

    moral of the story;

    buy low, sell high and, most important, out-negotiate others
    to gain the ability to call the shots.

    This deal also paved the way for Trump's future dealings w the state-owned Bank of China

    Yes, this is a huge example of how they were never really concerned about breach of protocol or destroying evidence and official records. It was always about just trying to get Hillary for them.

    OP is a Chinese spy. Confirmed! This is what happened when you let in these Chinese students starting in the 80s up to the present days without vetting their loyalty to the CCP. Now they are here taking roots in our lands, doing the dirty works for their dear leader and biting the hands that feed them. Disgusting bastards!

    I’m pretty sure you should face jail time for taking classified documents.

    All of this ******** paper and eating paper… I don’t know. Maybe he can go for the insanity defense.

    I had a Top Secret DoD clearance at my job. If I happened to walk by someone's desk and see a document marked classified with no one at the desk to 'protect' it and I didn't report it, I could be fired.

    Trade deficit with the CCP bastards in 2021 grew by 14.5% to the tune of 355 billions. Orange Man was not the president in 2021.Pretty much confirmed why the OP is a Chinese spy. Your cover has been blown.

    Yea, the US gov takes this crap seriously. It's going to be a stinky job, but someone is going to have to investigate the Toilet Papers.

    You have been exposed as a Chinese spy. Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide. The more you ragged on Orange man, the more you gave your spy status away. You have been flagged. You are on the FBI watchlist. Just wait till 2024, your CCP ass will be deported back to the lands of genocides and concentration camps, unless you are born here like myself, your naturalized citizenship won’t mean a damn thing.
