I like this pairing more than that BS super team in New Jersey. Harden and Kyrie was always a very weird fit. That team just felt so artificial.

Ill be interested to see how Harden comes into this situation knowing that this is 100% Embiid’s team.

Philly fans are also very unforgiving, so hopefully Harden knows he is not going to get cut any slack. Basketball-wise, I think this pairing with Embiid might have a chance to work.

i agree i wanted james to go to philly first, but disagree james and kyrie was a wierd fit. it was actually a great fit since james is a playmaker. kyrie is not a point guard so its best he have someone else to handle that let him focus on scoring.

the few games they all played they were great.....and thats without ever having a training camp or full season under their belt. shame we never got to see what could have been. but i love a star big man next to james. that pick n roll will be deadly, possibly unstoppable.

It doesn’t matter who he plays with or for if he’s shooting 33% from three on ultra high volume and turning the ball over 5 times a game. That’s almost Westbrick shooting % and nearly an extra turnover more per game. Impossible to make that work.

The guy’s not nearly as effective with the ball as his only fans think and he never learned to be effective playing without the ball. Playing him at the point full time and letting him dominate the ball is not a recipe for success. There’s a reason why his best year was alongside CP3.

Told you Harden nut huggers when he left it was just because his Wookiee was no longer here.

He just wants to be up under Morey since he lets him do whatever the hell he wants.

But I don’t blame him for wanting to leave Durant. He doesn’t owe him anything. Durant had opportunities to come to Houston to help him get a ring and instead he went to GSW and directly kept him from getting one.

I liked the Iverson, Deke, McKie, Snow team.

I would root for a wide open Eastern Conference.

The Nets were interesting to watch last season with Harden, but I haven’t tuned into their games this season (honestly, haven’t watched much NBA period this season since the first month or so).

I like Morey and wish him success, and kind of ambivalent about Harden at this point. I guess I’m rooting for them to get over that hump and win a ring. I doubt it will happen — don’t think Embiid can last that long.

    It’s a shame it didn’t happen here.

I was a philly enjoyer because of Murray, so I'll root for them still.

I have no ill will towards Morey at all. He'd still be here if we had good ownership.

I don't like Harden for what he did, but I LOATHE the Fertittas for what they've done.

I hope Harden and Morey win 3 chips over the next 3 years. Let Tilman eat crow.

I’m actually going for the Sixers. I wasn’t for the Nets for pick reasons.

I kind of want Harden to shut all these haters up for one season.

Watching those Dr J, Andrew Toney, Mo Cheeks, Bobby and Caldwell Jones teams was great to me as a kid. And when they got Moses, I was definitely a sixers fan. Loved DrJ and Moses getting it done.
