Christian Wood…right before we don’t trade him and he leaves in free agency

So I guess Gordon / Wood get dealt on Draft Night?

So where does this leave us? Agreeing to not play Gordon? This makes no sense.

This is what pisses me off the most

    Multiple teams offering 1st

Rockets have offers of future first, have offers of teams with lower picks

    yada yada yada

Fans over here thinking first round pick, Houston couldn't even get a 2nd, do EG a solid by putting him on a contender and clearing space for our young guards

Rockets are a trash can organization, Stone is incompetent.

This has been the case with Gordon for most of his time here in Houston.... and his career. Teams know the risk especially as the age grows - with any player. Just because he has been relatively healthy this year doesn't mean teams are ready to commit valuable assets.

because you can. No one would have thought he could get out of it and to get expirings back was what was needed

Stone will probably make more Thiess type moves in FA, so what does it matter anyways.

Wood might go up in value on draft night any way, so that is fine. I'm not even mad about keeping Wood, I wish he would go, I'm tired of watching him set fake picks...

But Ego had to go, his value will just be lower at draft night. All this talk about him being a good vet hand, whatever, the young guys had him for a year. There's a number of vet guys you could bring in to help young guys transition to the NBA too.

They really needed to get rid of EGO. I don't care if it was for 2nd round picks, whatever was the best deal, take it and be done with it.

and it only gets that much worse over time. They keep holding onto him believing they can get something better. Not happening

The rockets are literally the worst team in the league. It's been time to cut bait. him being on this team still is absolutely dumb

I genuinely thought Stone had a plan to showcase EG and Wood to peak their value so then our young guys could take over and finish out the season properly, just complete bullshit that he did none of that.

Sengun is pulling Lebron moves, getting players waived.

It was Boston that came looking for their guy Theis. Stone is not putting in work.

I'm not too unhappy about it, Stone couldn't get a few moves done and probably feels he will have a better chance of moving players in the off season
