Trade Wood, Eric or wood. Trading theis is just the front office fixing a fk up. Essentially that's all we did fix a fk up.
Glad to see the 33 year old guard couldn't be moved. Rockets really becoming the Knicks of the South.
Ultimately - teams thought the asking price on Wood and Gordon was too high and went in different directions. Theis was sought after by Boston.
Schroder has the expiring contract, Theis is mult-year. It was a savings. But Stone won't sign any significant FA with the salary anyway. He's clueless - draft, FA, coaching, interviews, etc.
Disaster of a deadline. It’s fair to start criticizing Stone now. Nothing past the Harden deal has looked good, and even that has its spots (Levert-Oladipo).
I’m surprised Boston gave up Schroder. I’m not surprised they wanted Theis though. That’s a good return for him. I don’t think they will buy Schroder out, but I do think there is more going down today.
