Comments like this make me laugh. Wood’s “value” is worth what somebody is willing to give up for him and that’s not a lot at the moment. Harden’s value was Allen, Lavert, Prince and 7 draft compensations. Now it’s Ben Simmons, Seth Curry and 2 firsts. You might think they’re worth more, but that’s not how it works.
In this scenario a no move IS a bad move. Gordon's value is the highest it'll ever be. Even netting 2 2nds and an expiring for him would have been beneficial.
