    Considering Tate’s salary, age and on court contributions, who else contributes similar to Tate? IMO, glue guys like Tate aren't so easy to find, DD.

    the nets have a lottery team right now. KD is hurt , kyrie plays marginally, simmons might not play right away either. they could get caught by ATL, CHA, or even NYK

    the next pick we get is 2 more years. who knows what they will look like by then. Most people thought harden would stay for more than he did.

    East aint a cakewalk anymore . Simmons alone is dicey ... if he is even the same player.

    Stone put his chips in against a team with two top 10 players (+Kyrie) and a smart organization. It was a dumb play from the beginning and now you’re seeing one of the reasons why.

    And now Morey gets his guy for less than he offered the Rockets a year ago.

    Stone is an imitator.

    I don't mind trading Tate, but he's a very valuable role player who can guard 5 positions aged 26 on a cheap contract, with some upside.

    Very much not a dime a dozen. I can't think of any top 8 team he wouldn't immediately be in the rotation on.
