"Trust me guys--if there was a deal in place where I think we would have benefitted it would have been done. I've been doing this for quite some time now. Remember when I traded for Oladipo and ended up trading him to the only team that wanted him? Yea, I did that"
Yup…the market for 33 year old injury prone guards with two more years and $40 mil left on their deal isn’t strong
Thanks for posting this. LockedOn Rockets will also be having a live show that starts soon. I believe it's on YouTube.
Nothing wrong with appreciating guys while they are here. Give them their flowers while they can use them to decorate their Houston Pizza Shop.
Kings are gonna Kings man. Like you just rid yourself of Bagley and having to worry about offering him an extension but now you end up in the same situation with DiVincenzo. First it was Fredette, then Stauskas and now DiVincenzo. I'm not saying Vivek has a type buuuuuuuut....
I know I am not thinking clearly, but I am jealous of the Kings and their trade activities. However, then I think about the Sabonis trade and remember the Kings are a trash organization. Still a little jealous though..
Some on here scoffed at hypothetical deals like Rubio/1st for Gordon as being a low ball offer. I wonder if they still cling on to that belief now.
It seems like Stone unfortunately suffers from Morey's habit of holding on to tradeable assets too long and then losing them for nothing when their contracts run out. And if he's the person behind all the unfounded rumors, then he's a bad combination of slimy and incompetent. Frankly, I'd be offering Green with Gordon, Wood or Wall to get some kind of value back. I think Green is going to be Eddie House or less-than-prime Lou Williams - an undersized, underweighted chucker who can hit big shots on end-of-game shots but is otherwise a zero on the floor the rest of the game. I don't see the path for him to become a superstar given his deficiencies (physical and skill wise). So use him while he's still a "potential" player to get us better assets. Of course, admitting Green was that big of a mistake is the kind of admission that gets a GM and scouting staff fired. So it won't happen.
Awesome, I'm going to watch 2001: A Space Odyssey and use the extra 40 minutes to watch a Youtube video on why Kubrick predicted that Harden would ask out of Brooklyn in 2022 based on the lighting of the moon.
