Wasn’t he just traded? I’d be concerned if his new team is already seeing they made a mistake and are willing to part with him.
The logic that JA and LeVert on the Rockets instead of Dipo would have made even an ounce of difference to Rockets record last season is also massively flawed. Rockets had the most injury prone roster in NBA last season, fielding a different lineup more often than any other season in franchise history. Rockets started Boogie, Spalding, Patton, DJ Wilson, Olynyk, hell even Kurucs, at center at one time or another because Wood was in and out of lineup for much of 2nd half. Addition of LeVert is empty stats, like Wood, like Dipo, like Wall. LeVert not as good a defender as Dipo. LeVert was injured/sick and missed as many games as the hobbled Dipo. JA played with a much more talented Cavs team and Cavs still ended up at bottom of East. Further, JA would have played away from his strengths in Silas 5 out offense. By the time Silas figured this out, IF he ever figured it out, the season would have been out of reach. Silas is not very good with personnel or system adjustments, he is either too stubborn or not savvy enough. His job had to be threatened before he decided to do way with disastrous 2 big lineup, specifically Theis-Wood. And that took him 30 games into season. Silas was even slower to adjust his first season as HC. Rockets would have lost as many games, if not more. Even with JA and LeVert. Because coaching matters. Or lack thereof.
I’m really not expecting much to happen Gordon costs 20 mil, good teams prob don’t have that kind of cap space to throw around Just because all of cf is jerking off to Gordon trades doesn’t make it feasible for a team to get him… Also… this team is dog-ass Also… shoulda drafted Mobley Also… we prob won’t get a top 3 pick Get used to being horrible.
