I'm arguing that we win more games with LeVert and Allen on our roster, in a season where we needed to lose as many games as possible.
Could have traded either at the deadline for more picks. Houston wasn’t gonna finish out of the bottom no matter what; we were historically bad last year.
He came back from cancer and played the last two months. Here is the gamelog in case you forgot. Caris LeVert 2020-21 Game Log | Basketball-Reference.com
I believe he had a winning record in games played post cancer. Not bad for a sub 500 team. Dude is like 20-5-5 with good defence. Under rated 2 way player who contributes towards winning games.
Some arguments are silly on here. “Future firsts have package value and got us Sengun.” Isn’t that literally what Stone is trying to hold out for and why there hasn’t been a deal? Idk if a late first this year is particularly dookie based on this draft class but Levert fetching one leads me to believe it is. “Valuing the Bucks first and dumping Prince’s salary over keeping Allen means Stone will get fleeced.” No other GM was willing to give more than the Cavs gave us/took on to get Allen so if this is the rationale we should be fine with every GM but Altman. Oh yeah but you guys wanted Stone to do a Gordon trade with Cleveland.
John Wall, with two busted knees and has yet to play a single game, is being contemplated to save their season. You love to see it.
Eric would look nice on the Kings now that Hali and Buddy are out. EG, Brooks for Bagley, Len, and a swap option Foxx / Mitchell Gordon / Davis / Brooks Holiday / Lamb Barnes / Metu / Harkless Sabonis / Holmes / Jones
