it was reported that Harden is being traded for Simmons.

it was also reported that Harden is not being traded for Simmons.

Don't overthink this Stone! Just get what we can for Wood and Gordon. We are in a race for the lottery -- EVERYTHING MUST GO.

If Stone flunks this trade deadline just like he flunked the #2 overall pick last year, then the heat on him is going to rise. The Stone is going to turn into a hot coal real quick.

Yep. People are getting upset because they set themselves up for disappointment for believing these reports.

Theis went from being a pros pro to nobody wants him. What a disaster signing

Yeah but Morey never won a championship, so he's a loser and thank god we got rid of him and have Stone.

    Veterans find homes:

    HOU OUT: Gordon, Theis, Nwaba
HOU IN: Dragic, Wiseman, 2nd round pick

Gordon to the Raptors for Dragic, Rockets get off that contract even though no pick involved and we do right by another veteran getting him to a playoff bound team. Theis to the Warriors for Wiseman. Theis here serves no real purpose and even though it gives the Warriors a boost, so what? We get a young big to grow with our core. Theis is the perfect dirty-work big for the Warriors but they'll be on the way out by the time this team is coming into playoff contention anyway. Do they really feel like they have time to groom a 20 year old center while Steph, Klay, Draymond age? Or turn that into a guy who immediately contributes while these guys still have their powers. Nwaba to Mavs for a 22 2nd round pick, absorbing him into their cap.

    Rockets post deadline roster:

    Porter - Green - Tate - Wood - Sengun
    Nix - Christopher - Mathews - Martin - Wiseman
    Augustin - Brooks - Queen - Garuba
    "Wall"

Buyout Dragic. Head into the offseason looking to dump Wall for literally anything that doesn't involve lighting assets on fire. Add that likely top 4 pick. Have something just shy of 40 million to offer in free agency. Hope that team full of youthful potential starts showing a star or two.

I wouldn't say rebuild over by a long shot but if this played out, even the still unlikely chance that Wall gets picked up... I would say the tear down phase is over. Just have to get over that Wall first, womp womp.

We have many players on trade list:
    Wood
    Gordon
    Augustin
    Theis
    Nwaba

Stone, we don’t have to wait the last minute to pull the trigger for them all. Just trade them quickly and give young players more playing time.

Trading away Theis, Augustin, Nwaba & Armoni should be bare minimum that happens.

Folks tend to forget that cheap ass Tilman is still our owner.
Don't b too disappointed if nothing happens

Until proven wrong i gonna assume that stones hands are tied somewhat making off loading our players quite more difficult.

JA was already showing his AS potential before being traded to Cavs.

DJ trade delayed his coming out party by at least 2 seasons.

THT would be much better next to Wood and Sengun than Tate.

Younger, LONGER, more disruptive and tad more physical than Tate.

LeVert played exactly 35 games last season and his numbers were almost exactly the same as his numbers THIS season.

Pacers are at bottom of East this season, playoff team last season.

    Roster is exactly the same.

I think Pacers miss TJ Warren just a tad bit more amirite?

And in those games, they won more games with him than we won all season. We are winning more games with him and Allen on the team. Not sure why one would even debate that.

If Rockets can complete trades for both PJ Washington AND THT then Rockets should trade Tate for a FRP or bundle him in package to move up in draft.

Both PJ Washington and THT fulfill exact same role as Tate.

But both are younger and longer.

With all due respect, are you really arguing that a player who plays for a more winning team would automatically make a lesser winning team better? That makes no sense.

LeVert is overrated. We wouldn’t have won many more games with him, if any at all. Allen was the big mistake, not LeVert.
