Stone better trade all those players that barricade our young players development.

Get great young players and develop them is top priority for this team.

What seems to be intentionally forgotten that JA wasn’t nearly as good as he is now, but was still going to require a huge payday. Also it was still uncertain whether Dipo was going to return to form and had a much longer history of being good than JA. Is JA really the max player you want to build around or will keeping our powder dry and sucking for two top five picks be better?

Lol, anything negative regarding Stone will be blamed on Fertitta. IB4 there’s no way Stone could’ve wanted Jalen Green.

You take the sucking route 10 times out of 10.

JA despite his foul troubles will probably want a near max deal. Also, while giving him that money, is he a piece to a championship roster with the contract he will be demanding?

    ...

    No.

Gordon's value is the highest it will be right now. Expirings aren't worth anything anymore. Ingles and Rubio were added to picks to get players. There's no point for Expirings when OKC is sitting there below the salary floor. They can just take contracts outright.

Part of the “compensation” for the Rockets was flipping Prince’s salary too.

Not to mention that no other team came in and beat the Cavs offer so it’s not just like Stone made an idiotic move no other GM would make. OKC for example could have very easily topped what we got from Cleveland for example.

Wood + Brooks to Charlotte for Washington, Ish and NOP's top 15. protected pick. The Pels got better and I think are eyeing the play in. Package that pick and Brooklyn's pick to move up to 10 or so. Washington starts at the 4 next to Sengun until he's replaced by Paolo/Chet/Jabari.

I won't worry about JA not being a rocket until i see how his playstyle and his impact does in the playoffs.
JA and Gobert are quite similar and I still think Gobert is a playoff underachiever because he mostly dominates regular season.

I don't care as much about regular season. Until i see that JA is a big factor in the playoffs, I'm not worried.

And, forget about PJ Washington...The draft picks are what's important.

It was not uncertain that Dipo would return to form. We didn't get him fresh off the injury. He played games for Indy and was trash. He was a shell of himself athletically. Anyone who watched a single Pacers game that season would know he was done.

It could be, but when the people you expect to carry that water for you find out you were lying to them, they aren't going to be relaying your messages much longer. That's bad business.

1.) We don't know if it's the highest it'll be. That can change in the next 20 hours and in the off-season. It's about netting the best deal. That's all subjective. Expiring's not being worth anything is false, they are worth something.

2.) The Rubio trade had three picks attached, two were 1st's. We aren't attaching anything to EG to get rid of him. Ingles contract is worth 13 million, EG 18 million. Can't just attach Ingles and a pick for EG and wipe your hand's clean.

I want Gordon to be traded, but not that big a deal if we weren’t offered a mid first and expirings. Do we really want a pick at 30 and a contract or two that last 2 years? I don’t

LeVert played in enough games to help Indy win more games with him playing than we won all season.
