    Rockets braintrust.

Too bad they all share one brain, Patrick's.

Looks like they're content with wasting away LeBron's final years.

Considering Washingtons needs, which are hard to clearly define except for making a consolidation trade for a superior player, what could and would you be comfortable with HOU offering for Rui? He is very interesting prospect.

So that means they are open to trading two or three of their 2nd round picks?

I mean, I get they aren't worth much but to move Westbrook, and for Stone to get something for Wall's dead money, I think you still better grab a couple 2nd round picks. They Rockets ARE GOING TO have to buy out Wall anyways. He's dead money. If the deadline passes and they could have grabbed a couple 2nd's and they instead hold onto Wall for some reason that's another case of Stone overplaying his hand.

I honestly don't know how Washington is going to approach this deadline.

It seems according to that tweet it's more about PJ Washington.

I would be happy if the Rockets did Brooklyn 2022 FRP lottery protected if not a SRP next year and Armoni Brooks for either PJ Washington or Rui Hachimura

If it was part of a Wood trade?

I'd want Deni, Rui and a FRP from Washington.

I'd want Washington, Kai and a FRP from Charlotte.

Rui has lost a lot of shine for me. He's just been bad. Total 0 this year. Mostly 0 last year. Even when he's been good all he does is score in the mid range. Doesn't defend, rebound, pass, or shoot particularly well.

haven’t seen him play a ton. He doesn’t appear to be a very good shooter or rebounder. Does he play D? He’s having a very bad year.

Would you do something like this? Pretend the 2024 Miami pick is the 2023 one.

that Duncan Robinson contract makes him a negative asset in my opinion. No wonder his name keeps getting floated by the Heat.

Washington is bound to have a lottery pick this year, the question is whether it would be outside the top 10. This is under the assumption that they do want to keep Bradley Beal around, so Christian makes more sense with their timeline.

EG works for the Heat much better than Duncan Robinson since they are in title contention window this year.
