Nets will struggle for the rest of this regular season obviously, but KD/Simmons with Mills and Harris will be a playoff team for the foreseeable future, no matter what happens with Kyrie. It’s better for the Rockets if Harden leaves the Nets with nothing.
Agreed, but I don't think the Nets brass is going to let that happen. The Nets dealing with a #bewell headcase is the 2nd best option for the Rockets.
It’ll get done and watch harden be a 28 to 30 night scorer again in Philly with a new role as opposed to be a primary passer in Brooklyn
I want the deal done. I don’t want to risk NY lifting mandates ky going back to full time KD coming back and harden having a change of heart. It may look bad now but things can change. Put Simmons on the nets and hope for the worst.
[Windhorst] The sides are definitely communicating and definitely making progress. 2 things they have to overcome to get this done, from the BKN side... can they get Curry...BKN really like him. For PHI, you're not just trading for Harden, you're trading for Harden who wants at 33 a 220M extension. (streamable.com)
You know, if Harden goes to Philly and something happens to Embiid, he will right back where he is now. Worse even.
I want this trade to happen purely for the drama and entertainment value -- there will be some fun meltdowns if this goes through.
This quitting bum ass loser forreal gonna be on his 3rd team in just over a year. Now watch all the Harden Only fans actually want Brooklyn to lose now and all of a sudden become 76ers fans.
I remember how arrogant Nets fans were after the Harden trade. Makes their current turmoil particularly delightful.
He's plugged in but he's also whiffed a good amount of times (and promptly deletes after). Let's see.
https://sny.tv/articles/james-harden-nets-76ers-trade-2-9-22 Spoiler There have been conflicting reports for weeks about the state of negotiations between the Nets and Philadelphia 76ers on a James Harden trade. One thing is clear: The teams have touched base this week through intermediaries and, entering the week, Philadelphia had been considering a package to the Nets that included sizable draft compensation and elite wing defender Matisse Thybulle, per SNY sources. This has been a staring contest, and it will come down to which team blinks ahead of the deadline on Thursday at 3 p.m. ET. The Nets have known for weeks that Philly would be a serious suitor for Harden, as SNY reported. What has become clear in the weeks since that report is Harden’s frustration in Brooklyn. Harden’s ties to Daryl Morey are well known. People of influence around Harden feel a strong connection to Morey, who traded for Harden as Houston Rockets GM and built the franchise around him. If the Nets keep Harden at the deadline, they’ll obviously hope that they can win a title with him this season and would be comfortable with the threat of losing him in the offseason.
Woj and the fat LBJ mouth piece are going at it lol. Woj says no contact Windy says the opposite. Both work for ESPN funny.
