I’ll believe when I see it, but hoping the Nets don’t make the right move. That team is in shambles, if the blowout last night didn’t open the FO eyes, idk what will. Simmons and pieces might be an upgrade.

Lets see if Morey does actually shine when the owners have deep pockets. Many of us here believed he was held back by our cheapskate owners.

I can't see morey closing the deal. Would be interesting though because I don't think they can get harden via free agency with all the tampering talks.

not sure why folks still think tampering isn't prevalent. It's really obvious it happens all across the league, especially the modern era where everyone has some sort of relevant relationship.

what's going to happen? tampering fine slap on the wrist and the team still ends up with their player ala lowry, lonzo as of recent

I could stomach sending anyone anywhere right now. The Rockets aren't in a place to get sentimental with the needs they have now in regards to draft picks. Sending him to NOLA would have been the most painful given how they unfairly boo him there, but even then I would have traded him there if a deal got back the Rockets a good FRP.

I don't care where he gets booed and what team he wants, you trade a player to a destination where you get the best return.

Stone needs to stop babying his players needs.

    Do something, Stone!

Felicia did throw an easter egg saying she was not getting any attention today but still had a good morning.

Stone could end up getting something for Wall, a first for EG and a couple picks/young players for Wood and the Stone haters will still find a way to crucify him. Lol. If Morey did this, he’d be a gawd.

It is weird that something that started out as a joke may happen.

I be saying this is the most likely outcome. Im not getting my hope high after last years deadline even though it turned out ok because Olynyk turned out to be a good impactful player. We need more players like Him who are smart high iq guys who know what to do

Can’t hate a man that potentially had one of the best drafts in Rockets history. Guess I gotta wait to defend his honor in 15 years lol. But I get it, we gotta see the trades happen to further push the Stone is a God narrative.

If Stone pulls that off he’ll get out of my dog house for sure. My issue with him is the Dipo part of the harden trade, which he was not able to salvage at last year’s deadline. And I question his judgement taking Green over Mobley. If he can pull a big win out of this deadline it rebalances the scales for me.

I think a trade between Nets and the 76ers will go though tomorrow. However, I do not see Simmons working for Nets because they need a scorer not just a passer. I think Houston can get in this trade by giving up Gordon and Wood. Nets would finally have some size with Wood and strong outside
scoring and defense with Gordon. Simmons would help Porter and Green.

Nets: Curry, Wood, Gordon and 2 FRP
    Rockets: Simmons
    76ers: Harden

Because we own the Nets picks for the foreseeable future, there is zero chance that the Rockets do ANYTHING that might help their record in the coming years.

That said, I wouldn't be too opposed to that because I, personally, don't believe Wood is a player that contributes to winning in a significant way and Gordon is toward the end of his career.
