He probably could’ve gotten a package of CJ, Powell and RoCo considering the Blazers practically gave them away and It would’ve satisfied Dame since he’s a fan of Simmons. Any package with those 3 guys is way better than Harden. Those guys would’ve been perfect. They would’ve gotten shooting, scoring, quality depth and RoCo had his best year defensively/shooting wise alongside Embiid since he didn’t have to play out of position.

Morey was always the OG Harden only fan though. The first 5,6,7 years I could understand but as a supposed great basketball mind/business guy he held on way too long and you can tell he’s never let go. 76ers are rolling right now. Last thing they need is to bring in a mercurial star who needs to dominate the ball in order to be effective.

Morey won't be satisfied until Harden ends his career.

I'm definitely rooting for it. The nba universe would go nuts, not to mention how great the EC playoffs would be with the Sixers, Nets, Bucks and Heat all serious contenders along with upstarts like the Bulls and Cavs.

But I seriously doubt its happening. I just cant understand why Harden would want to leave KD who's going to be back in a couple weeks. Sure Kyrie's issues are annoying and things are tough atm, but once KD returns, they've got a great chance to win the title.

No one can put up with Kyrie. The man is certifiably insane.Harden and Embiid will tear the east apart.I only see the Bucks as the main obstacle. If they keep one of Green or Curry they will have shooter’s galore to punish teams if with Harris, Green/Curry and co.

As for leaving KD, I think his injuries are piling up and it’s only going to get worse from here. I know Embiid is not exactly an iron man, but I think Harden feels Morey knows how to build a team to compliment his skill set better then Brooklyn. The trust factor with Morey and Tad Brown is huge. The fact he was being held out on purpose for tonight’s game is telling

Apparently the sticking point now is maxey according Keith Pompey the legit Philly insider who literally broke everything 3 weeks ago. The Nets are waiting for maxey to be included to wrap it up.

I'd give up a 1st rounder before I trade Maxey. He's basically your safety net if/when Harden misses games. I'd go as far as trading Thybulle before I trade Maxey.

Morey gonna get his man after people wanted him to sell Simmons off for scraps all year long. His patience going to pay off. Harden ending up in Philly sucks for HOU though. Simmons deflates the long term pick value from Brooklyn most likely AND sucks because we could have gotten a better long term deal out of Philly if Harden had preferred that deal from the beginning.

Pompey also contends that there is a “split” in the Brooklyn front office on what to do with Harden.

Why the hell would Brooklyn think Harden is worth Simmons and 2-3 other players.... Simmons alone is overpaying for this trade, please Morey do not help these dumbasses get better.....

Morey needs to stop being so damn sure he can get him in the summer, I certainly would call his bluff if I were the Nets. Go ahead and waste an Embiid playoff prime. As we all keep saying, those legs are on borrowed time.

Simmons is a total headcase and extremely volatile. If we want to maximize our odds of the Nets totally collapsing, then Simmons is an outstanding addition to their team. Plus, for 2022, Simmons will be absolutely terrible since he hasn't played all year. Remember, this is the guy who passed up a dunk opportunity in the playoffs last year -- mentally he's fried.
