If we draft Chet, we oughta give him that protein powder that Giannis uses.

Chet is going to be a shot-blocker from day 1. And he can stretch the floor as a 4 or 5. I think offensively he’s going to be a really solid player at the next level with his skill set. Not sure he’ll ever be a star, but a very serviceable and impactful player nonetheless that can help any team.

With that said, he is 100% going to get abused down low by the grown men he’ll be facing at the next level. Dude is 7’1 and weighs 195 lbs (!!)… that’s nuts. Even if he puts on 15-20 lbs, he will still be severely underweight and will get pushed around. And I don’t think he has the frame to put on much more weight than that (very narrow shoulders). I guarantee teams are going to game plan for him and attack him down low every game. You see it with Pokusevski in OKC who has a similar build. Dude just gets bullied so easily in the paint and on the glass. He can’t hang with the big boys. Holmgren will definitely struggle in that aspect.

Guess it’s really just a risk-reward thing with him. I think he’d be a fine addition to any team, but people have to temper their expectations. And he absolutely has to hit the weight room and get significantly stronger just to compete down low at the next level because these will be 240-280 lb grown men he’ll be competing against, and they will smell blood against him.

Chet has really good defensive footwork. He is really crafty about giving up ground or stepping a little to the side on bigger centers and still contesting the shots. I suspect he will also front a lot of the bullies and make lobs and entry passes to the post very difficult. He might get a bit stronger by his second season, but it doesn’t look like to me his frame will support much more body weight.

I'm not sure you want that guy adding a whole heck of a lot more weight anyway.

That's a big contributor to foot and knee injuries in big men.

I don't have Chet play the 5 spot, I leave that to Sengun and have Chet play the 4 here he can use his length as a help defender.

Don't know much about him other than he averaged almost 3 blocks per game as freshman.

And even though he is 6'10 230, he prefers face up game than post game.

Blazers beat the Lakers (Wall wouldn't have let this happen)
Kings beat the TWolves (not sure about how I feel about this one)

Looking at the rest of the season, it's worth noting that the Rockets have the 7th hardest schedule remaining, tougher than Orlando and Detroit.

Although they can't improve their odds at a top 3 pick, by jumping to 1st or 2nd, it would eliminate their chances of getting a lower pick. If they finish at the bottom, it guarantees they end up with one of the three bigs or Ivey.

I'm not necessarily encouraging they tank the rest of the way. They're awful as it is. But I wouldn't be upset if they ended up at the bottom either.
