The Pacers need to give Kevin Pritchard a raise. I am still pissed at him for stealing Brandon Roy from us. But dang, I don't know how he made this trade with a straight face. I actually feel bad for Kings fans. If Mcnair is smart he will quit. His career is going to be ruined if he stays.
I guess they figured that they had a glut at pg and needed a big man so this would actually improve the team, but wow, what a price to pay
A few theories as to why the Kings did this: 1. They are the Sacramento Kings 2. They are trying to save money 3. The NBA owes the Pacers a favor
this is why tanking is never a solution... just do normal solid stuff and youll be ok...no need for drastic measures like losing games on purpose...
Buddy is viewed as a net negative player by many, SG version of Ryan Anderson. Can't do anything but shoot, and his 3PT% has declined for 4 years in a row now. Kings fan have wanted him gone for a long time
The kings are the poster child for why bad teams need to tank. If you don’t tank, you just keep getting into a cycle of mediocrity where you never get a star, and just chase the 10 seed. an absolutely unconscionable trade by the kings, just shocked
I'm frustrated with Rockets too but this is objectively not true. Kings missed playoffs like 16 years in a row lol
Tyrese Haliburton 'in tears' after Kings-Pacers trade, Matt Barnes says https://www.yahoo.com/sports/tyrese-haliburton-tears-kings-pacers-044847007.html
Hield is 29 years old. The kings got the best player in the trade though they did pay a significant cost.
Vivek and co. I mean, he's the only one that has the ability to pull that trump card out on any deal/draft pick... but these deals aren't typically initiated by the owner so it started with the upper management guys and basically falls into his lap within the negotiation stage.
Maybe they figure they are good with D Fox and D Mitchell at Gs so Halliburton was used to get a legit All-star big. And they move off Hield and his money to get expirings and can now be players in free agency to find other players to reshape the roster around Sabonis. Halliburton was showing promise but he wasn't all-star level. Gotta see what other moves they make going forward before passing judgement on moving Halliburton. I mean we all know the Kings needed to do something major to turn that thing around.
