Dude has been out of college for 7 seasons now. If he wanted to set picks, he would’ve done it. He is what he is, good stats but completely worthless for winning
Good lord this guy…. I honestly think he’s trying to tank his value by ballhogging so nobody will want to trade for him. I seriously cannot remember the last time he passed the ball.
You can see his influence rubbing off on other players too. Because Wood is only concerned about getting his, so is everyone else. The rockets offense is just a bunch of guys taking turns it’s always been like that while Wood has been here.
You know, we always talk about those vets that impart good habits on the youth. Well, here with Wood we have the complete opposite of that. There are so many times JC or JG are streaking on the wing for a fast break bucket and Wood just insists on dribble dribble dribbling. If Al-P was the starter from the outset I’m positive our guys would be moving off ball more, because they’d be rewarded for it. Instead, after playing with Wood people stop moving because he’s a black hole. I liked the pairing of him and Harden, but he is the absolute wrong guy to lead our children’s development. Please move him. Please. It’s getting more unlikely with each passing hour. please
