I've watched all the games. Wood plays selfishly majority of the time and no matter how talented he is, you do not want that presence on your team. He scores garbage time buckets and provides no defensive resistance. He can't even guard the other team's centers and forces Tate to do it.
Hmm. This was thought out and not terrible... for us lol. I don't think Wood and Sabonis fit next to each other but I could be wrong.
Agreed. Never been a fan of his attitude. He's clearly got talent but just like with KPJ... the thing that won't make them great is their motor sputters here and there. The greats always have the foot to the gas and for Wood he turns it on when HE wants to.
If Wood traded, which Rocket will be the next whipping boy. Because CF needs someone, anyone, to whip.

KPJ, Wood, Wall, Silas, Stone, Green, Sengun, assistant coaches, Fertitta, Batman, your neighbor, your neighbor's dog... everybody's got the reason why the team sucks. And if they don't have one, they'll make one up and run with it.
lol. Playing no defense, quitting on your team, inconsistent effort, shy’s away from contact though biggest on the team, being a diva, lost in rotations with no BBIQ, thinks he’s a max player. Yeah we at clutchfans are just picking on wood…er…slapping wood. Lol No one believed in him or wanted him to be a great player more than us fans. Wood let us down, not the other way around. Sometimes he just doesn’t even try to pick up his assignment. with all that talent…it’s disheartening to watch.
I think Wood has been fine. I agree there are times where he is selfish or below average on D. Wood or Gordon could end up being the missing piece for a contender though.
D-rock acting like wood is such a great player. I wonder y its so hard to trade him then? Guess no one wants a big who avoids playing d on other big man. Watching him force Tate, Gordon hell even green to guard the opposing big man is irksome enough.
How do you know that it’s been “hard” to trade him? How do you know what trade offers the Rockets have received?
I don't trust C Wood. I say trade him now before he does an Okey Dokey and pull the chair out from underneath us. Leaves the Rockets high and dry next summer. Get something for him now. Contract control for next season has value now for another team.
Read the Hornets trade proposal. Two or Three players for Wood means we have to cut players to make it work. I am a Bouknight fan. Moving Porter and pick Kai Jones & FRP. Opens room for player development and puts almost every one in on rookie deals & bird rights. Never said Wood was a great player. Said he was the Rockets best player, huge difference. I'm sorry if the truth hurts.
