Bouknight is a very talented player, he is quick, athletic and can shoot in college. Bouknight is short but if you put Porter, Green and Bouknight together our team would be crazy athletic he just needs more playing time. He was the second best guard in last year draft he is a special player. Washington can shoot the 3s from outside and he can be physical inside. I’m not crazy about the trade but I like Bouknight but he is short at 6’4 and thin…no defense
NO FRP???? Not a fan of this trade at all. Bouknight AND Green is a good fit, how? And Hornets also looking at Richaun Holmes too.
So the starters will average 6'4.5? With KPJ 2nd tallest at 6'5. 6'5 KPJ 6'4 Bouknight 6'4 Green 6'6 Washington 6'4 Tate Rockets doing Rockets things. SHORT and defensively challenged. SMH
I personally like Washington and I think Bouknight has the potential to be a good player in this league, but that said I’m wanting a 1st in any trade for Wood.
Despite the redundancy, Bouknight+Washington for Wood is something I would do. Bouknight looks like a woman though.
i like him too. I do think KPJ, Christopher, Mathews, and Green are worth developing, so I’m not sure how he would fit in, but his per 36 min averages are better than any of the rockets guard prospects. I think our back court is locked in absent the opportunity to get a Halliburton type player. But I think Bouknight has a chance to be a better player than Green if a team invests and develops him.
Not really, the team would be way better rebounding and defensively, and we can make up for his scoring by moving the ball around more instead of watching him selfishly play.
He is, but having 5 rookies from the 2021 draft (3 of which are guards) is a bit much IMO. I'd rather have an Ish Smith type of guard right now.
Yeah, no. I've seen how this team looks with Wood, and I've seen how it looks without him. Go ahead and argue that losing a guy who averages 10 rebounds a game somehow would improve our rebounding. I know what I've seen.
I don't think the Sabonis deal knocks Wood completely off the table for SAC. Sabonis is on a good contract and the fit isn't awful and somewhat complimentary in some areas. Sabonis and Wood could play some together but would be good to stagger too. SAC can compete without giving up of their core and ROX get an expiring or can give the QO to Bagley in the offseason while hoarding picks: Wood for Bagley + $ 2mil salary filler + 2022 pick swaps (ROX get best of SAC/BKN/MIA) + 2024 top 10 protected FRP
