Yeah to be fair I think most of the frustrations stem from the fact that Mobley is so far advanced for a rookie and ahead of the class that the bar was raised unjustifiably. If Mobley was more tame I think the green flak wouldn’t be so rampant

 

Please. You’re already crowning Mobley? That’s fn dumb bruh. Time will tell and we’re nowhere near be able to crown the best of the top 5 draft choices of 2021 draft

 

Honestly criticism of Green has nothing at all to do with Mobley. When your #2 pick is the worst player in the league according to several metrics, he's going to catch some criticism.

When that rookie has a rabid, delusional fanbase that throws a temper tantrum any time their hero is criticized, it's going to lead to disagreement.

 

all u have to do is watch him play. I don’t need to wait a year or two. There’s no comparison.

as an average fan I don’t have the benefit of watching a ton of tape or working guys out in person. But it’s pretty hard not to notice how good Mobley is and how bad Green is.

it’s not the thread to debate this so I’m sorry for bringing it up. It’s just hard to watch. If I were a betting man, I’d say Christopher has a better nba career than Green.

 

man, the Cavs game showed that Jalen, Sengun and JC are just as close in effectiveness as Mobley. Mobley is in the perfect situation. The very next game Allen and Love had 25pt 22reb games.

imagine if Silas had no vets to play and no mandate to make KPJ the PG of the future.

The rookies would be a lot farther in their development.

Silas has made Jalen an off ball player when he shown to play better with the ball

 

Mobley has had back to back 8 points and 9 points games with his center doing all the defense after dropping his career high on all nba defensive player of the year candidate Christian Wood. =/

The guy we played tonight could barely muster 9 points in 30 minutes his 1st season. Let them grow up and make their mistakes why is it that big of a deal? and be prepared to deal with the ups and downs of a rookie next year with a new crop.

 

Jalen was not bad this game. Almost a 20 pt game and he’s finally getting the other stats too

 

yeah, I dont even get what is happening with the "we hate jalen" mob. He shot 50% and got a handful of assists and reb.

 

You are so ignorant trying to call it this early just bc ur butt hurt the rox didn’t draft ur girlfriend. I’m not sayin Mobley is not good but you cannot be seriously claiming to know whether in 2025 or beyond that Green is not much improved and a league top scorer and possibly much better than Mobley who could very well regress or get injured. So plz just stop.

 

Folks just want green to fail so they can ego stroke about how much iq they have for wanting to grab Mobley Instead.

You can’t say that with a straight face. I’ll give the first half but in the second he was awful. He constantly put himself in bad spots where his teammates had to bail him out.

 

Why has Christian Wood been allowing the opposing bigs to have career nights for what seems like a month now? Yeah, he's getting his numbers but at the detriment of literally everyone else. And he's still saying the right things...but he's been saying the right things for a while now and doing absolutely nothing differently.

 

Nah he was pretty bad in the third. Got a couple of buckets when the game was out of reach in the 4th.
