if Jalen was able to play more with real players like Sengun and JC his +/- wouldn't be so terrible

 

One thing that can expedite the process is for him to get beefier. He’s constantly getting bumped when he drives, he looses all his speed and elevation because of that and just proceeds to get blocked. Strengh training can alleviate some of that.

 

71 points from their PF, C and back up PF. Granted, Vale got his points when the Turk wasn't in there.

I'm not so sure, it seems like every night his is the worst on the team. Kind of no matter who is stuck on the court next to him is dragged down. He's one of the best tank commanders I've ever seen.

 

but..... but..... but...... something about lack of talent and unexpected situation he found himself in...

 

Tough to watch. Not a single player that really gives u much hope to build around. We are at square one still. We missed our opportunity to get that franchise building block when we passed on Mobley for Green.

He's just a super raw rookie that probably should have been picked in the teens rather than #2 but G league hype from talking heads got the Rockets to reach. As a result, he's bad enough right now to tank the entire team which will lead to another top pick.

In a perfect world, he learns how to play basketball in a few years and will be a contributor to a team led by whoever we pick in the next draft.

Sucking right now isn't necessarily the worst thing in the world.
