2-big lineup nerfed Jalen Green. Now we got 17 Mobley threads.

Silas is literally Stone’s fall guy

Stone signs all these vets, makes Silas play them, and then when they fail hard, Silas is the one who gets ridiculed and has his intelligence questioned

I mean if this is true then we have a huge issue at the GM/front office level. Demanding/commanding for Theis to maintain his starter status was a heinous act.

    Better now than later.

See Stone for who he really is.

That also tells you they did not trust Wood alone down low due to his pogo stick frame.

If you wanted another Center, at least sign someone aged 23-25 that fits better within the age range.

Or just re-sign Olynyk. I thought I was over the Thesis experiment now that he's no longer a starter and the team is playing better ball but this revelation that Stone is stone-cold crazy is making me sad and furious at the same time.

I do not think he is crazy but I think Morey overshadowed him in his Houston days and now that he is the Man, he is reaching, greed kicks in, he takes over at practices.

Wanting to leave his mark at this franchise, trying too hard behind curtains.

    Happens.

Houston cannot catch a break after Tilman came in.

If by playing Theis extensive minutes he could end up with Smith, Banchero, the outcome is not necessarily bad, other than the games are unwatchable.

I knew Stone looked high AF every time I saw him, now I know how the Thesis signing happened.

It's kind of funny that his last name is Stone because he looks like he could be The Rock's light skinned brother from another mother in this picture.

Y'all focusing on the wrong specifics.
A coach should be able to control rotations, period. I don't care if it's Theis, Shmeis, or whomever. That's blatant interference in coach's autonomy.
Silas is entitled to play whoever he thinks fits his basketball vision. I mean... That's like telling an artist, "I want a painting, but don't use too much green, give me more blue and purple..." That's BS, what it is...

    There are couple ways.....

If you are Pops who has already worked as GM and worked well with Buford.

Normally if people know their boundaries, at least the working experience is better and prolonged.

Not that I'm a Stone apologist. BUT what if Stone knew these lineups would be bad but did it for the sake of the tank?

Did the Spurs FO ever force anything on rookie coach Pop, or did they let him coach how he sees fit? Rockets FO been meddling from style of play to now rotations for years

I remember when I first questioned Stone and CF practically tried to tar and feather me.

whoever wanted Theiss and Dipo needs an asterisk next to their name on their resume.
