The Silent Sea" (Netflix) - 7 out of 10. A Korean series with very good special effects and story about a Korean space machine to the moon. Won't spoil the story but the acting is decent led by Bae Doona as the emotionless scientist and Gong Yoo as the mission commander.

Been reading and hearing a lot about this show, I recently got HBO Max for free so I will check it out.

Raised by Wolves as well, even though the buzz about died down a lot.

Just watched series one of Clarkson's Farm on Amazon Prime and loved it. Learned a lot about farming while laughing my ass off at the same time.

I liked it, but the ending was a bit underwhelming. I concur, 7 out 10.

"Take out with Lisa Ling" on HBOMAX.

Fantastic show. I thought it was going to be just a food show but of course with Lisa Ling, shes gonna do her research and throw in some knowledge and history. The first episode about Louisiana and how Filipinos pretty much shaped a lot of that culture was very interesting and eye opening. It makes so much sense.

Finally got around to watching The Boys. That was pretty excellent.

Just started Patriot (Amazon show from a few years ago). Only 2 eps in, but it's offbeat, dark and funny so naturally I like it so far.

The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window (Netflix).

You want something a little odd, this is for you.

Kristen Bell stars as Anna, a woman who drinks too much and takes too many pills
because her forensic psychologist husband goofed and allowed their daughter to be eaten by the cannibal killer known as Massacre Mike on Take Your Child to Work Day. (Funny, no?)
Naturally no one believes Anna when she says she witnessed a murder take place in the house across the street, leaving it up to Anna to investigate whether or not it happened.

Watching it, I couldn't help think of how much I miss Leslie Nielsen and how a female with his brand of comedy would've been perfect in the role, but Bell is sympathetic and does a decent enough job.

I can't say it's great overall, but the 25 minute episodes go by quickly and the final episode was quite solid.

The trailer actually makes it look better than it is, but it still isn't bad..

    Hopefully there's a second season.

Nightmare Alley is excellent if you like throwback noir-type movies.

I can’t believe I watched this show. It was horrible, the ending may have been the most Nickelodeon **** I’ve seen. Lol.

Not worth the watch. Anytime you see Michael Ealy casted in a movie, just know it’s low budget and super cringe lifetime style.

Now that you mention it, the show was pretty Lifetime-ish. Although I honestly thought the last fifteen minutes was good lol. Of course I watched it pretty late at night, if that means anything to you.

When I saw Ealy in Californication I thought he was the felon turned model and looked him up. He did a good job in that show, but I agree that he's not exactly Denzel.

The whole point of the show was to be a satire of Lifetime movies.

When she poured a whole bottle of wine into 1 glass and sipped off the top...

I never would have watched it but my ladyfriend needed to, plus Kristen Bell is a ridiculously cute little munchkin person.

I didn't catch that one. I did spot that her daughter's headstone changed at least once, but I didn't read it in time and was too lazy to rewind it. T

She is cute and is aging quite nicely. I have to be honest though, I've just never found her to be all that for some reason.

Don't know if you were ever in the business world, but House of Lies is also fantastic.

    Not much of one.

Not counting The Woman in the House... I haven't seen her in anything memorable. I'll check it out.
