Yeah right now strategically it would be stupid for Biden to have a public meeting with Kanter. Erdogan would love the opportunity to tell the world how the US is disrespecting him and how the US and NATO need to do more to keep them in the alliance. This all happening on the eve of Russia likely invading Ukraine. Turkey actually is a very important player on the chess board right now. I’m all for at some point kicking Turkey out given the fact that Erdogan is a corrupt thug, but you have to do that at a time where it won’t end up creating a new Axis Powers alliance with Xi and Putin. If Turkey turned on NATO it would spell doom for Ukraine…. … and you wingnuts would blame Biden and likely think meeting with Kanter was an impeachable offense.
