I tried to acknowledge that you were correct about the draft pick aspects. I am no expert on the rules, I will never pretend to be. I have no reason to ignore you, I actually appreciate the heads up.
I can't remember if it was Oladipo or Tucker, but last year the Rockets postured the same way at the deadline. They said they had multiple firsts on the table already or something, and on deadline day they got a early second for late first swap and a swap option. It was clear bluff as this may be, and I'm fine with that. Some posters get upset the posturing, like they have been lied to. If the tweet is true about Phoenix, Rockets should counter for a 1st later in the future when Paul is less effective. Maybe a 2024 pick with light protections. On a side note, I can't wait for the Daryl Morey Feb 11th interview where he says he was very close to pulling xyz trades for Philly.
No that's not a legit tweet, it is Holic's twitter, I remember him posting from it countless times .... D-rock is not Holic. I forget if he got banned or what .... It's been a while.
Think he got banned for an insensitive remark. His dumbass should have been banned long ago for LARPing as an "insider" and begging that we trade Clint Capela for Thon Maker.
Would jump all over this opportunity if this story has any legs at all. Jaylen Brown is legit star on the rise and needs his own team. Switchable 6'6 two way player with 7'0 wingspan and ability to create for himself and others. 36% from 3P. Only 25 years old.
Very much with you on this one. He’s not a bad defender either, especially when his usage is reasonable. Morey will be all over it too unfortunately, loves Brown iirc. Are they looking to go young or just try another similar player at a different position? Boston has slowly gone from ECF team with boatload of picks to… Tatum is the only player worth keeping. Sad story.
Brown is an excellent defender, may not be as elite as Ben Simmons but his offensive skillset more than makes up for that. And not sure if this rumor has legs, but Boston has been looking for PG and center upgrades forever.
SIXERS: Jaylen Brown, DJ Augustin, David Nwaba CELTICS: Caris LeVert, Jae'Sean Tate, John Wall, Shake Milton, Daniel Theis + 2022 Bucks FRP PACERS: Christian Wood, Eric Gordon, Denis Schroeder ROCKETS: Myles Turner, Ben Simmons, Al Horford, Matisse Thybulle, Jason Richardson *If BOS prefers Wood + Garuba instead of LeVert, then send Theis + Shake + FRP to IND 6'10 Simmons/6'5 KPJ 6'4 Green/6'3 Jaygup 6'5 Mathews/6'5 Thybulle 6'10 Jabari Smith Jr or 7'1 Chet Holmgren/6'6 KJ 6'11 Myles Turner/6'10 Sengun/6'9 Horford Rockets get their own Triple Towers with improved playmaking + elite rim protection, perimeter defense, rebounding. Perhaps my masterpiece (and, in any event, my last attempt before leaving the trade ideas to the pros in the front office): Houston out: Wood, EG, Nwaba and Brooks Houston in: Washington, Plumlee, J. Johnson, Gallinari, Cle 2022 FRP & Cha 2024 FRP Cleveland out: Rubio & 2022 FRP Cleveland in: EG Charlotte out: Washington, Plumlee, & 2024 FRP Charlotte in: Wood & Brooks Atlanta out: Gallinari & J. I think what Stone is thinking is: Houston out: Wood, Gordon, Theis, Wall Houston in: 1st round pick, 1st round pick, 2nd round pick, 2nd round pick, salary dump, salary dump, salary dump
